Title: Body and Soul (PsyCop #3)
Author Name: Jordan Castillo Price
Publication Date & Length: October 23, 2009 – 125 pgs
Thanksgiving can’t end too soon for Victor Bayne, who’s finding Jacob’s family hard to swallow. Luckily, he’s called back to work to track down a high-profile missing person.
Meanwhile, Jacob tries to find a home they can move into that’s not infested–with either cockroaches, or ghosts. As if the house-hunting isn’t stressful enough, Vic’s new partner Bob Zigler doesn’t seem to think he can do anything right. A deceased junkie with a bone to pick leads Vic and Zig on a wild chase that ends in a basement full of horrors.
Another 5 Captivating Stars!!
I am greedy for Vic and Jacob!! I think I say this for each review of her books, but Jordan Castillo’s words pull me in from Page 1. We are again wrapped up and pulled in to the sexy world of Vic and Jacob. Always smiling when I read these two together. It is a mature, sexy, healthy relationship and I pray to god it stays that way!!!!!
There is a definite paranormal presence in this addition to the series, and it is just as riveting and interesting to be inside Vic’s brain, as he tries to solve another case. Ms. Castillo does her research. You feel like you are one of the ghosts tagging along, for every page.
Can’t wait to read more in this series!
Another great installment of this series. I’ve come to really love the men in the story as they grow closer together.
I’ll admit that since I’ve listened to the first couple books as audiobooks and this was the first one I read as ebook that I actually prefer the audiobooks. The way the narrator helps bring the story to life is just fantastic, however, the book is still awesome simply because of the way that Jordan writes.
I have to admit the biggest thing in my mind at the end of the book is ‘what is going on with Lisa?! There HAS to be more there!
I love the new characters. They always add to the book, not take away. I can’t wait to see whether the new partner works out.. and really the BIGGEST thing I need to know… Is the threesome going to happen??
This series is easily one of my favorite reads this year. It’s so memorable and different I simply adore each new book.
