Title: In The Dark (PsyCop #6.1)
Author Name: Jordan Castillo Price
Publication Date & Length: October 30, 2012 – 26 pgs
Halloween is fun…at least, it’s supposed to be. Costumes, candy, trick-or-treat, even jaded Victor Bayne can get behind those sorts of antics. Too bad this year’s Halloween is a grownup event. Not only must Vic don a suit and endure a disco-obsessed DJ, he has to mingle with friends of Jacob’s he would much rather ignore.
Vic thinks he has the party’s host all figured out–but as he so often realizes, once he looks beneath the surface, things are seldom what they seem.
This was a super short story but awesome look into Victor and Jacob around friends at a Halloween party.
I have to say this is one my favorite M/M series and to get little snippets of their everyday life together is just awesome!
This time yes there is a ghost Victor must deal with but also being around people who he is unsure of or feels like they hate him. So you get to see how he deals with that kind of situation too.
All together I loved this short story!
I would definitely recommend this series!
This is just a little snippet of what every day life is like for them
and it was really wonderful to watch as Vic tries to fit into Jacob’s
life. Plus we got a little paranormal activity and got to see Vic
relate to someone from Jacob’s past.
Just like all the other stories, we really get to see the snarky and
hilarious side of Vic while watching the oh so sexy Jacob do his thing
as well.
I just love the way Jordan Castillo Price writes her characters.
