Synopsis

They’re a match made in the dungeon…until their secret gets out.

Bored senseless in a meeting, architectural modeler Jon McNeill amuses himself with a kinky dating app on his phone. Then the app matches him with another user…who’s six feet away. Suddenly Jon finds himself on the same page as someone way above his pay grade: millionaire property developer Rick Pierce. His firm’s biggest—and hottest—client.

The app isn’t kidding either. They’re a perfect match. Jon’s a Dom, Rick’s a sub, and bondage is their thing. Both guys are well into their forties, know their way around the bedroom, and definitely appreciate a good suit. And the best part? They’re a match outside the bedroom too.

But office relationships aren’t easy to keep a secret. When the truth comes out, Jon is certain he’s about to get fired. Instead, his bosses throw him a curve ball—an ultimatum that puts both his job and his relationship in jeopardy.

Warning: Contains literal and figurative sex machines, blindfolds, a sub being punished during a business meeting, enough rope to tangle up a millionaire, and a Golden Girls marathon.

Now I have to say before I even start this review how awesome it was to see two older MC’s in this book..
I thought the way Jon and Rick meet was cute. Jon is bored during a meeting a plays around on his dating app when it pins someone near him who is also into BDSM like he is lets just say the sparks between these two you could definitely feel them.

I really did like Jon as the Dom because you could feel how he was equal parts caring and strong when he needed to be. Then there was Rick who to me makes the perfect Sub even though he is a man of power and position with his company he also knows his needs and how he needs to let go and let someone else be in charge for a change.

I loved these two as a couple. Yes you get you angst with this book but you also get the steam which Damn these two were so hot together.

So all together I loved this book!
I would definitely recommend this book!

Jon and Rick are a strange, albeit hot couple.  Despite not being extremely content with his life, Jon is working as hard as possible to put this kids through college.  He works for a company that was not altogether gay or bi friendly, so he is not “out” at work.  However, because of his curiosity, he finds his perfect match -Rick.
Rick, well, we don’t get to know too much about him.  We get bits and pieces of his background, but this story focused almost entirely on what Jon needed, why Jon had to work at a company that didn’t treat its employees all that well.  So, if i have one critique, it’s that I would have liked more Rick in the story.
However, I did enjoy this story quite a bit. You got to see the real side of life – it was not all hearts and flowers – it had real life issues, real life angst.
I do wish that I would have gotten to hear Rich dress down the CEO a bit more and the board members when he was discussing work ethic and ethics in general.
This was a short, sweet story about love, life and how things sometimes don’t end up as you thought, but as they should.

FiveStarsI really enjoyed this book. The whole concept of being in a meeting and bored and finding a match on a kink website who happens to be in the same meeting is hilarious! I wonder how many times it really happens in real life since we are always multitasking while in meetings. I love the chemistry between Jon and Rick and how perfect they are for each other. There was a little drama and a little angst but a whole lot of steamy sex which I loved. Jon wasn’t a hard core Dom which I really liked; he even admitted and embraced his vanilla side which was refreshing. I loved the epilogue and highly recommend this book.

FourStarsI love LA Witt and this is a new favourite.  Older men with interesting lives, open communication, nurturing families, and a little bit of kink – this is just about perfect.
John is an underdog.  His job is slowly being replaced by computers and his bosses are nightmares.  His family works, his children are growing up happy, but he is lonely and scrambling to make ends meet.  Rick is a perfect match for him.  The lonely CEO needs a Dom and a life.
John’s stifling workplace creates conflict for the two men.  At times the conflict is a little implausible in 2015, but it works.  Open communication and Jon’s happily dysfunctional work family keep this relatively angst-free.
This is marketed as BDSM but LA Witt only ever gives her readers very light kink.  This is a relationship story about the blending of two established lives and the negotiations necessary to make an unlikely relationship work.  The chemistry is hot, the men are wonderful and this is a wonderfully emotional ride.~Sarah

FourandHalfStarsThis isn’t the first book I’ve read by L.A. Witt and I really enjoyed this it. The plot was great and I loved the characters (Jon & Rick). As I began to read I was immediately drawn into the whole story and love the reaction from Jon when he realized Rick was on the app. This book had love, humor and most of all hot sex all centered around BDSM. But of course Jon and Rick in countered problems when there secret came out. The author was able to take those problems and weave it into a fulfilling story. Great job Ms. Witt.

AuthorBio

L.A. Witt is an abnormal M/M romance writer who has finally been released from the purgatorial corn maze of Omaha, Nebraska, and now spends her time on the southwestern coast of Spain. In between wondering how she didn’t lose her mind in Omaha, she explores the country with her husband, several clairvoyant hamsters, and an ever-growing herd of rabid plot bunnies.

She also has substantially more time on her hands these days, as she has recruited a small army of mercenaries to search South America for her nemesis, romance author Lauren Gallagher, but don’t tell Lauren. And definitely don’t tell Lori A. Witt or Ann Gallagher. Neither of those twits can keep their mouths shut…
