Title: He’s Just Knot That Into You
Author Name: Nico Jaye
Publication Date & Length: March 18, 2015 – 127pgs
When Tanner moves to Chicago for a new job, he experiences his First Shift, a revelation that signifies he’s met his mate since the last full moon. The only problem? He doesn’t know who it is. To find his mate, he enlists his new assistant Jon to arrange a series of dates, but each one turns out more disastrous than the last.
With the next full moon quickly approaching, Tanner finally determines the identity of his true mate. Unfortunately, Jon has since disappeared, and Tanner must now begin a new search. Is it really Jon’s family crisis pulling him away, or is Jon just not that into him?
First of all, the people on the cover look like the characters in the book. That never works out for me. But this time it’s great, and helpful. Tanner has moved from LA to Chicago (after moving from New York to LA), lamenting his 30 years of life without a mate. He meets a series of men and women at his workplace, and eventually figures out his soulmate is the least likely candidate.
This book is very light-hearted without being shallow. It’s full of fun moments–Tanner’s phone conversations with his mom, bad dates, his hapless secretary, Cubs game–and makes for easy reading.
Nico has a fabulous gift for writing about smells. The werewolf lore is refreshingly original, at least for me. Tanner’s first transition into a big hairy humanoid werewolf is quite amusing, and the connection between shifting and soulmating is rather sweet.
So please look past the terrible pun (it gets even more terrible during reading) and give this book a chance. It may not have changed my life, but it made my day.
I liked the fact that no one in this book was slightly bothered with the fact that they were gay. no I loved that and hope that one day the world will be that openminded it wont be different it will be normal.
This book was well written and easily kept my intrest. With not manytwist and turns but plenty of action and adventure. I enjoyed reading this.
From the title i was expecting something different but I was pleasently supprised with the entire book!

Nico Jaye is a fan of all things HEA and has dragged her romance collection along for her moves from San Francisco to Los Angeles to Chicago to New York and back. She thinks reading is awesome and loves that she can hang out night after night with crinoline-wearing debutantes, brawny firemen in suspenders, and werewolf shifters with Scottish brogues. An overall feline enthusiast, Nico secretly (or not so secretly?) adores Hello Kitty, cat GIFs, spontaneous traveling, pretending to be crafty, emoticons, hot menfolk, and parenthetical statements (not necessarily in that order).
