Synopsis

For years, Clayton Potter’s been friends and workout partners with Ronnie. Though Clay is attracted, he’s never come on to Ronnie because, let’s face it, Ronnie only dates women.

When Clay’s father suffers a heart attack, Ronnie, having recently lost his dad, springs into action, driving Clay to the hospital over a hundred miles away. To stay close to Clay’s father, the men share a hotel room near the hospital, but after an emotional day, one thing leads to another, and straight-as-an-arrow Ronnie make a proposal that knocks Clay’s socks off! Just a little something to take the edge off.

Clay responds in a way he’s never considered. After an amazing night together, Clay expects Ronnie to ignore what happened between them and go back to his old life. Ronnie surprises him and seems interested in additional exploration. Though they’re friends, Clay suddenly finds it hard to accept the new Ronnie and suspects that Ronnie will return to his old ways. Maybe they both have a thing or two to learn.

FourStars

Clay and Ronnie have been friends forever, best friends. Clay was there when Ronnie went through all kinds of stuff, his dad dying, his breakup with his longtime girlfriend. Now Ronnie is there for Clay when his dad has a stroke. I loved Clay but Ronnie drove me nuts. I just wanted to smack him, he was so loving and caring one minute and then next he seemed so aloof. The chemistry between these two was really good and so is their story. I loved how Clay would work in his garden when he was stressed, that just made everything seem so real to me. This was not only a love story but a story of true friendship and even if sometimes things got blurry that Clay always wanted Ronnie to be his friend even if it broke his heart.

Clayton and Ronnie have been friends for a long time. Clayton has been attracted to Ronnie for awhile but Ronnie is straight or at least that is what he thinks until one night in a hotel room when Ronnie and Clayton go to see Clayton’s dad in the hospital.

Just wow I love GFY books and the way this author wrote this one was so good even thought being completely honest it took me awhile to like Ronnie’s character. He is such a big player and the way he strings Clayton along or at least that is what it felt like to me, really drove me nuts.

I have to say the way Clayton talks to him during sex and teaches him was just so damn hot!!!!

This book was a friends to lovers story and I have to say I loved the way this author wrote these characters even though honestly I am still on the fence about Ronnie’s character. Then there was the way he wrote the steam in this story was just so damn hot!

So I will leave this review with I really liked this story and would recommend this book!
