Title: Emerald Eyes (BloodRose #2)
Author Name & Publisher: Julia Talbot (Torquere Press)
Publication Date & Length: September 21, 2015 – 84 pgs
When Jonny, the owner of club Bloodrose finds out his shifter mate Luc has a twin brother, he decides Yves needs protection from the bad guys who have tried to kill Luc. He sends Reuben, a werewolf security agent, to keep Yves safe from the killers. And from Yves himself.
Reuben has never met someone as determined to find trouble as Yves. The guy has this obsession with a set of emeralds, a dead younger brother, and some kind of demon ritual. All of this should make panther shifter Yves a bad bet as a mate, but that doesn’t keep Reuben from falling hard. Can he and team Bloodrose keep everyone alive long enough to convince Yves they’re made for each other?
Another super steamy add to this series!
You get Yves Luc’s twin brother and Rueben who is a wolf shifter in this book. The way these two were together and how they could not keep their hands off each other was one of the reasons I really liked this book!
There was also Jonny’s, Luc’s, not telling lol and not telling bed scene.. Well technically it was not on a bed I think lol bit you get my drift. Now that was so damn hot!!! Usually not a fan of the main MC couple incorporating another couple to their bed but the way the author wrote this one was perfect!
Yves is after emeralds and other gems so he can perform a ceremony to bring someone back from the dead. Rueben is there to protect him and when they found out what extra passenger Yves picked up on they way… Just wow! Talk about a twist! I do not want to give anything more away because this was such a fast read.
So I will leave this review with I really liked this book!
I would recommend this book!
