The FAA has been struggling with dragons attacking their planes, and hire Dane, a supernatural consultant, to look into the matter. What Dane finds in the woods is not quite the problem he expected: a group of dragon kits and their sick father.

When he learns the real reason the family was in the woods, his case only grows more dangerous, and while Dane is plenty experienced at watching his own back, taking care of baby dragons and their handsome, distracting father almost makes danger look easy.

This story was just too adorable. It’s just the first book of the new series, but I think it can become something really great.
So, the first installment of the Supernatural Consultant series is about Dane, the guy everyone comes to when they need help with anything supernatural. From getting rid of pixies to relocating Dragons. He has his own business for it. His newest assignment is to find out why there’s dragons disrupting planes. He finds a kit of young dragons in the forest with their sick father, Mercury.
Mercury’s rowdy kids just made me go “awwwwww”, too cute. They were young, oldest being 8 and the youngest being like 4, but they were very protective of their adoptive father. Dane was really patient with them and I liked how the author didn’t have Mercury and Dane getting it on as soon as Mercury got a little better.
The plot was interesting, I wanted to read more about it, but the book was short so I read it very fast. I took a star away because of that and because I wanted more interactions between Mercury and Dane, cause there really wasn’t enough. Mercury was sick through most of the story, though he did get in on the action towards the end. I hope the next book is about them again. I’m really curious about the hatched dragon egg no one thought was going to ever hatch. Apparently it’s suppose to be the most powerful dragon ever.
I’d looking forward to reading where the author will take this series.

So I want to start of this review by saying I loved the Dragon shifter aspect of this book! Dragon shifters are one my top favorite shifter books to read which make this so hard for me to say….
While I liked aspects of this novella and where the author was going with this story I felt like most of this book was about the kits “the dragon children”. This book was just so much about them which don’t get me wrong I did like reading about them and how much Mercury cared about them. But by the time this novella got to Dane and Mercury their part was so small I did not see enough of them together to believe the attraction between these two. It was like one second Mercury was thinking how attracted to Dane he was then Bam they are together with no real build up at least to me that is what it felt like. So while I did like most of this book the relationship between Dane and Mercury left me scratching my head confused. So besides that part I did really like this book for the Dragon aspect also other supernatural beings that were in this book.  So this was such a short book I really do not want to give away any spoilers.
All together I did like this book I am just not sure what I feel about Mercury and Dean together!

FiveStarsI loved this book! It pulled me in within the first chapter.

This book is so well written it’s like you’re  watching a movie.  You feel like you’re  there. I loved the kits. They’re so cute and adorable. I want one.

There is also plenty of suspense and mystery with a dash of action and drama and cuteness, provided by the kits, to keep you on the edge of your seat and not wanting to put this book down.

My favorite quote from the book:
“You’re back!” Chrome (a boy) yelled happily. “Why’d you bring back a girl?”
[Lol. So funny.]

This is book one of a series and I am sooo happy it’s a series. I can’t wait for book two to come out. Hope the author makes them longer.

If you love a m/m book about magic and dragons you will love, love, love this book. I highly recommend it.

When Mell Eight was in high school she wrote a short story for an English class. The assignment was for no more than five pages, yet she had turned in ten and the story wasn’t completed. Her teacher was impressed, but writing stories for fun was her main source of procrastination from homework; handing in an assignment that actually asked her to write fiction was too good to pass up. Since then Mell has continued writing, posting in many online communities for fanfiction and original fiction and eventually branching into slash fiction. She mostly writes paranormal or fantasy stories, but has been seen exploring the real world once or twice.
