Author Name & Publisher: Sean Michael (Dreamspinner Press)
Publication Date & Length: November 30, 2015 – 59 pgs

Last Christmas, Kenn Greyson gave husband Chris Martenson an ultimatum—spend more time with the family or we’re leaving. He never expected Chris’s reply would be “then leave,” but that’s exactly what happened, and Boxing Day took on a whole new meaning.

Separated for nearly a year now, both men are miserable apart and coping the best they can for the kids’ sake. With Christmas just around the corner, a new conflict arises: neither man is willing to forego Christmas morning with their children. Chris finally suggests they spend the holiday together at the house and, to his shock, Kenn agrees.

Armed with the knowledge that he’s been a stubborn idiot, but that perhaps he can change and begin to repair their relationship, Chris takes steps to win his husband back. He just hopes he can get Kenn on the same page before Santa comes down the chimney on Christmas Eve.

A story from the Dreamspinner Press 2015 Advent Calendar package “Sleigh Ride”.

This was such a sweet Holiday story!

So Kenn gave a ultimatum to Chris his husband last Christmas because he felt like Chris did not spend enough time with their children or him. Well Chris tells Kenn to leave then which causes their family to break apart.

This was a story about a second chance at love and trying to fix past mistakes that should not have not been made. I loved the way Sean Michael wrote these characters and this story! You get the sweet and the caring in this story, then mix it in with the holidays and this was the perfect holiday Novella!

All together I really loved this story!
I would recommend this Novella!

I loved this story. It was very sweet and just wonderful. Sean Michael has done it again.

Kenn and Chris’ story is heartbreaking with a beautiful HEA. Poor Kenn, after the separation, he takes two part time jobs and works himself to exhaustion and then has to come home and take care of the kids. The way Sean writes this you feel exhausted yourself.

Chris is this hard-nosed big shot in a company and I’m glad when he finally sees the toll that Kenn’s constant working was having on him. I wish, though, there was more written about Chris. I feel like the character wasn’t developed enough.

I love reading an m/m story with kids in it. This story is no exception that it portrays an amazingly loving family.

I highly recommend this story. It was exceptionally well written and was so sweet with lots of love going around with a great HEA.

I absolutely love when Sean Michael does a heartwarming and tender story. This was great. I immediately had a connection to Kenn and Chris and loved the kids also. I would love to get more of Kenn and Chris. I loved how the author was able to make a complete story in just 59 pages. That is the sign of a really good author. Great job!!

Often referred to as “Space Cowboy” and “Gangsta of Love” while still striving for the moniker of “Maurice,” Sean Michael spends his days surfing, smutting, organizing his immense gourd collection and fantasizing about one day retiring on a small secluded island peopled entirely by horseshoe crabs. While collecting vast amounts of vintage gay pulp novels and mood rings, Sean whiles away the hours between dropping the f-bomb and persuing the kama sutra by channeling the long lost spirit of John Wayne and singing along with the soundtrack to “Chicago.”

A long-time writer of complicated haiku, currently Sean is attempting to learn the advanced arts of plate spinning and soap carving sex toys.

Barring any of that? He’ll stick with writing his stories, thanks, and rubbing pretty bodies together to see if they spark.
