0.1

Title: Bend (Love in Xxchange #3)
Author Name & Publisher: Bailey Bradford (Totally Bound)
Publication Date & Length: August 1, 2011 – 142 pgs

Synopsis

Annabelle Calhoun has always been too strong to break, but now she’s going to have to bend if she wants to keep the love that’s unexpectedly come into her life.

Annabelle Calhoun had always been proud of her independence. She didn’t need a man in her life for any longer than a night, and even then, it was her way or the highway. Seeing her brother Rory in a loving monogamous relationship didn’t sway her, neither did the love between her bunkhouse mates, Max and Bo. She didn’t want anything other than a good time from a man.

But two men—she’s been there, done that, but these two men, Justin and Evan, want something more than one night. Together, they just might be enough to make Annabelle bend.

Reader Advisory: This book is part of a series but can be read as a stand alone title.

i am still new to reading menage, but oh my was this book great!! The plot had me gripped right away. The characters are so well written and well described that i fell in love with them all.Belle is such a strong willed, self suffecient woman. and i was so happy she decided to relenquish a little bit of her controll and give her men a chance to love her. I would love to read more on their story!

I haven’t read any of the other books in this series, but I felt like we got enough from this book that I didn’t need to read them to know what was going on.
I really liked the way the story played out with Evan and Justin being together before and looking for a new third to work in their relationship. However, at times I just didn’t think they all fit together. They were all a bit whiny at times and that annoyed me.
The whole situation with Rory and their father sort of disappointed me after all they’d been through between siblings and as a family.
Altogether, another great book by Bailey Bradford who is fast becoming one of my favorite authors who never lets me down. Hot sex, well developed characters with a great plot to boot.

Well I’m disappointed this series is done.  Sure thought Alicia was one lucky girl throughout these books. (Laughing)   But once again it was flawless, the story concluded just as you would hope it would.  We have both Ace and Adam struggling with what to do.  But I loved how Alicia was strong and determined to make it on her own.I very much enjoyed these short steamy reads and highly recommend them to be read!!

While I LOVED this series, this book seemed to end too fast. Everything was resolved without any real conflict. I wish the men had had to work a little harder after accusing her of something so sad and awful.  Also, I wish her dad’s conflict had been not so easily resolved.
I understand that the book was more about their relationship – which is awesome, but in the end, it was just too easily wrapped up – despite me loving the ending.
This would also be great as 1 whole book instead of 5 parts too, but it was fun to read it in sections as well.
Avid
ThreeandHalfStarsAnd so it finally comes to an end.  After five installments of attraction, complication, misunderstanding, mistrust and some very hot sex scenes, we are finally at the last chapter. At the start of part 5, Alicia runs.  If Adam and Ace don’t trust her, she will work through her problems without them.  But Alicia is still at risk and without her men to protect her, she is vulnerable.I’ve given this slightly fewer stars than the other installments because so much happens in very few pages here.  We’re told about important events after they happen, we aren’t shown.  And while the HEA has been a long time coming, forgiveness and sex come a little too quickly for me in this final episode.

But the chemistry between the three characters is still hot and Orman writes some sizzling sex scenes as the lovers re-unite.

This is the first serialised story I’ve read and I’ve really enjoyed catching up on each installment as it was released.

The series just keeps getting better. Oh man, Rachael, I didn’t expect that from Ace!!!! At first I thought he was being a baby, feeling left out, but holy crap the end, threw me. Once again it was an amazing part of their total story. Written so well you can just visualize everything. I love how she keeps us guessing as to what happens next. Looking forward to the next book.

HOLY SHIT!!! I am dying to know what happens next.  Man, Rachael sucked me in at the first part of this book, but now… I actually yelled out “NOOOOOOOO!” at the end of this part and my husband came running!!!
It’s that good!  I don’t know how it’s going to resolve, nor do I want it to resolve.  I want these to keep coming!!
The angst between the three of them – the mystery behind her “stalker” and the budding relationship between Adam and Alicia, the hot, hot sex… man, this book just keeps on giving!
I Can’t wait for the conclusion!
AvidReader

FourStarsAlicia, Ace and Adam are pulled back together by a threat to Alicia’s safety and Ace is fully out of the closet.  But all three characters are still plagued by doubts and insecurities.

For the first time, we see emotional bonding between the characters and we learn more about Alicia’s back story.  The hot, fantasy characters from the first story are still here, but they’re becoming more human and ultimately more loveable.

There are some sexual firsts here too and the chemistry between the three characters just gets hotter with each installment.

My only gripe is that the cliff-hanger at the end just wasn’t fair.  I have to know what happens next!

FiveStarsLoved this installation! I felt that it made the relationship between Ace and Adam more real. I liked that despite the reservations that Ace had about coming out to his gang, that it was not this long, drawn out issue. It was dealt with and then it was over. Also, I really liked how you got to see real emotions between Ace and Adam. So often those are not discussed – especially in a ménage relationship. This one was a little worse, as far as the editing went, so I would suggest going back through it, but I can’t wait until the next installment – it’s getting great with the cliff hangers!

AvidReader

FiveStarsAce, Adam and Alicia are back.  So in this installment the story takes over the sex.  I felt it was more about the video and how they reacted to it being seeing.  It was written well but leaves you with a twist from Alicia at the end.  Love how Rachael just keeps you wondering on something new each time.

Once again the characters were fantastic.  This time it’s Alicia turn to figure out what she wants.  Can’t wait for the next one to come out.

Sherry
FourStars

Oh the angst!  With Ace involuntarily outed to his biker gang, Adam, Alicia and Ace are plagued with doubts.  Instead of the solid threesome we saw in part two, there are pairs and loners in part three.

Even within a strained relationship, the sex is still hot.  Orman introduces a vibrating butt plug, phone sex and ever more inventive positions in this installment.

A much more emotionally tumultuous ride than part two, part three is once again a short, hot read. I’m hoping part four brings the characters back together, but I have a sneaking suspicion it won’t be quite so easy.

Once again – HOT!!!  Loved this installment and can’t wait for the next.  I love how open and honest the trio were with each other. Despite the story taking place in a very short amount of time, it felt developed.
I love how Adam and Alicia were feeling each other out at first, but were willing to literally jump at each other when the time came.
I also like the voyeuristic nature of this relationship. Watching each other is just as satisfying.
Seriously cannot wait for more of the story, because this one left me wanting SO much more! What’s going to happen?!!?

This is book 2 and its was steamy and sexy.  Ace, Alicia and Adam all get together in this book and and the sex was hot!  Loved that when Alicia got with Adam she was hoping he was Ace’s Adam, but wasn’t sure.  It was intense and entertaining.  And Rachael did it again, she left us with a wonderful cliff hanger. Can’t wait to find out what happens next.
These books are quick to read, but keep your interest waiting for more.

If the first installment was hot, the second is scorching.  When Ace, Adam and Alicia finally decided to explore Ace’s threesome idea, the chemistry is explosive.

With a wicked, naughty imagination, Orman’s sex scenes are steamy.  Part two introduces the first full-on threesome; it also gives us a couple of wonderfully wild scenes between Ace and Adam.

In part two, all three characters are more relaxed and playful.  Defenses are down, inhibitions are gone and these three beautiful people make the most of every opportunity…and orifice.

Orman delivers these installments in bite-sized morsels and I’m once again left hanging at the end, waiting eagerly for next month’s installment.

Ace and Alicia and Adam… YUM!
Holy hell! I was blown away by this story! Ace sounds hot and sweet and all sexy. Alicia is a snarky, awesome woman who I can totally picture in my head. Their chemistry is off the charts and I love how persistent Ace is. I also like that Alicia, despite her being in a dry spell, is not one to judge Ace and Adam’s relationship.
The sex between Ace and Alicia is so hot! I love how they connect and can’t wait to read more about how they will develop in their relationship. Ace and Adam are also hot, but in a very different way. They have chemistry, but because Ace is still not fully “out” with his biker boys, Adam is more a secret.
Holy cow! Orman left the reader hanging and I can’t wait to read what comes next!

I received this from the author for an honest review.
I’m going to love this series Rachael, you’ve done it again. You hook us with just enough that we can’t wait for more and that’s what you did with this book. Love the intensity of Ace (perfect fitting name) and how he takes control. I can’t wait to see how Adam and Alicia are going to get along. It’s hot, it’s steamy, and a perfect read. The writing just draws you into the story, a sign of a great writer.

If Sons of Anarchy makes your knickers even a little bit damp, you’ll love this new series.

Alicia is a bartender in the bar where Ace’s motorcycle club hangs out.  One evening, while cleaning the bathrooms, she walks in on Ace and Adam, another of her regular patrons, enjoying a very intimate connection.  Instantly aroused, Alicia only lets herself watch for a moment.

Tattooed biker Ace is bisexual.  Without arousing the attention of his homophobic MC, he is carefully orchestrating the threesome of his dreams.  Sex with Adam is hot.  Alicia is gorgeous and may not be quite as unattainable as he once thought.  If he plays his cards right, Ace might just be able to get all three of them together in the same place…

This is a very steamy short story, the first in a new series.  It stands apart from other sexy m/m shorts because it is very well written.

The sex is hot and just a little bit dirty.  All three characters are well developed.  A complex plot is just beginning to emerge here, ready to evolve in further installments.

This is highly recommended for fans of bad boys and bath or commute length reads.

I loved this.  Lots of action, hot men, strong women… fantastic.  I love books about super covert ops, but this time, two women were included on the front lines which made it even better.

The romance in the story focuses on Ryan, an FBI agent who was once an army ranger.   He has feelings for Tempest, a kick-ass helicopter pilot and aeronautical engineer and Rogue, a former military buddy who is now Tempest’s boss.

The action in the story focuses around Ryan’s sister Lark’s covert ops group called the Wind Warriors and Ryan’s own role as an FBI agent.

I’m going to have to read back over the first five books in the series to get the whole story, but there was enough offered to make this a good stand-alone action book.  In this book, the good guys are hunting heroin dealers who are out for revenge.

This was a really sexy book – though the sex really only took part in the second half of the book.  Leading up, we have all sorts of action, attraction and angst.  The chemistry between all three characters is explosive and the author puts her imagination to good use thinking up new ways to use all the possibilities three characters bring.

A great read!

Sarah

FourStars

Ryan, Tempest and Rogue are kick ass, take no prisoner’s type people. This trio is both hot and tender towards each other.

Although I have not read the previous stories, I did not feel that I was missing too much – I could follow the story well.

Ryan and Rogue’s characters, while similar, were also so different. I appreciated that Meadows was able to create that distinction. So often soldiers are written to be all the same, but these two were rough, tender, fierce and sweet depending on the situation.

The action in this story was fast paced, well executed and exciting. The love in this story was great between each pair, but lacked a little for me amongst the trio itself.

This was a great story, but I wish the interaction and romance was more played out. It was more about the mission and less about the relationships.

// Cheyenne Meadows – Erotic Fiction Author published by Totally Bound – The home of Erotic Romance //

Growing up in the Midwest, I began reading romance novels in high school, immediately falling in love with the genre, to the point where I decided to write professionally for a career. However, that dream splattered against a brick wall, resulting in a quick death in my first writing class in college when my professor told me bluntly that I wasn’t any good at it. I shifted gears quickly, and left my writing dreams behind, eventually settling on becoming a nurse.

A few years back, I stumbled across a fan-fiction writing site on a favorite author’s webpage. I began to read stories others wrote, not only making some wonderful close friends from the experience, but also, really learning to write for the very first time. Here I was able to share short stories, practice my writing skills, and truly develop into a writer. More than that, the experience allowed me to revitalize my dream, as I rediscovered joy in writing. Now, I spend my days off with my alpha male characters, quick witted heroines, and see how much trouble everyone can get into.

When I’m not working or writing, I enjoy working in the garden, canning, and seeing my backyard as a living canvas for my whimsical landscaping, and, of course, reading romance novels.

3.5-4 Stars

This was an interesting tale. It wrapped a love story, history, and some myth all in to one.

I really enjoyed the dynamic between Cain and Alt. I thought they were a dynamic pair and despite their years of fighting their attraction, once the spark was lit, they held nothing back.

Georgia was refreshing in that she was not the helpless damsel of the story. I was really glad about that. She was a strong, independent woman who wasn’t afraid to take a chance.

Despite the big secret everyone is protecting, Georgia is bound and determined to learn all about the sleepy town.

I wish that John had played a more in depth role, but he served his purpose in the end. I also enjoyed Pappy and the Father who did not seem to bat an eye at the strange, evolved relationship that Georgia, Alt and Cain began.

Overall it was a great story. I think it would have been stronger had the twist of John been more thought out and less rushed.

Georgia Knights was  a quick short read and started out slowly but did get more interesting as the story went on.
I would have liked a little more back story to start, I had no idea what the plot of the story was and more about the characters to start would have helped in understanding what the book was about.
The characters were great, the writing made you feel as if you were right there. I especially liked that every time someone called Georgia, ” honey” she replied, “Georgia”. It was amusing how she didn’t liked being called honey and everyone there did it.  The sex scenes were well written, which was great since that was most of the book.
Overall I liked the book and would read more by this author.

Excerpt

“Boys…” She felt all flushed and tipsy, like her skin was too hot. It was amazing.

“Alt…” Caid stared at Alton over her head. “You. Damn it.” There was no anger there. Just a strangled heat.

Alton lifted one eyebrow. “Whut? We’re all adults here. There’s no reason not to enjoy ourselves.”

Well, that was true enough. She sure was enjoying them. A lot.

Georgia took a bit of pizza and offered it to Caid, holding it up to his lips. “Want some?”

“Mmmhmm.” Caid nipped it out of her fingers, licking at a little sauce that slid down to her knuckle.

She watched as he licked her finger clean, then offered a bite to Alton, going from sweet smile to wicked grin.

“Tasty.” Alton was more blatant, nibbling her fingers along with the pizza, loving on her.

Her nipples were hard as rocks, her belly taut and tense.

“Lord, Caid. She smells good, huh?” Alton leaned on her, smiling across at Caid, hand pushing Caid’s against her under the table.

“You both do.” Caid said it on a moan, Adam’s apple bobbing.

“Y’all are enough to make me breathless.” Talk about mating rituals. Jesus. She could write a bestselling erotic thesis about them.

“You’re the hottest thing I’ve seen since I laid eyes on Caid, and he’s been resisting me for years.”

Oh. Oh, God. Alton obviously had no filters. She took a moment to visualize that — fine bodies moving, rubbing. Kissing. Oh. Pretty.

Caid made another one of those noises, sounding almost pained. “Y’all.”

“I. Is there somewhere… The cook’s watching us.” And she wasn’t putting on a show for the sixteen-year-old, acne-ridden mouth breather.

“My place.” Alton threw a bunch of bills on the table, waving to the little teenagers who watched them avidly. “I need a box, kids.”

“Alton has a place almost up to the falls,” Caid whispered, breath hot on her neck.

“Okay.” She sounded like a phone sex worker, all breathy and husky.

They packed up the pizza and headed out, Alton hustling them back to her little rental SUV. He didn’t give either one of them time to think, either, just groped them both impartially.

“Alton, you’re dangerous. Sit in the back seat.”

“What? Why?” He pouted at her, but Caid punched his shoulder.

“Because no one can drive with you all over them, Alt. Get.”

She gave in to her baser instincts and went up on tiptoe to kiss the corner of Alton’s mouth. “I have to focus, huh?”

“Oh.” Alton blinked, those pretty gray eyes bright. “Got it. I’ll just sit in the back and…” He made an unmistakable motion with his hand.

She swatted him, chuckling. “Now, now. Don’t pop too soon.” She winked at Caid, offering him a quick kiss, too.

Caid surprised her with a kiss that curled her toes, capturing her mouth for a long moment before moving away. He went and sat in the passenger seat, staring, focused.

“Oh.” Wow. Okay. Driving.

Driving would be good.

When Bowie shows up on his doorstep, Channing feels like a teenager again, all confusion and need. He doesn’t date his own kind, only humans, and he’s not in the market for a full time master. Bowie is impossible to deny, a force of nature, and while both men know they’ll have to think about Emma eventually, now is the time to see if they can get to know, and love each other, all over again.

This was a very good read. It was hot and sexy and had a premise I appreciated. The beginning did weird me out a little with Bowie being a cat in the train car, but after that, I got used to it and appreciated it. The journey these two characters started years ago comes to life when they are brought back together. Both Bowie and Channing are very well-rounded characters, and their personality differences are definitely compatible with each other. This is a read I would recommend to anyone who wants light gay BDSM erotica.

Now…here’s some minor things I had issues with. Channing wiggles a lot. He is constantly wiggling, and it because less sexy the more it goes on. Secondly, Channing is constantly crossing his eyes. This does not scream pleasure to me but rather someone trying to be funny. I don’t think that’s what the author was going for.

While the sex is steamy and romantic and full of feels, there isn’t a lot of variety in the actual positions. In a gay BDSM book, I’ll admit, I was expecting quite a bit more variety. However, how the scenes were written made up for the lack of variety.

What I had a hard time standing…
I kept waiting for the girl. This was promoted to me as a menage, as M/M/F… there’s no girl. Not even a whiff of a character entering the scene. There’s talk of one, (which I’m sure will be the sequel and follow up to this one, and I’m so going to read it) but there is no actual girl. This is a gay erotic BDSM romance, not menage. I kept waiting for Emma to enter the story and that did not happen.

Overall this was a great read, and one I have already recommended to friends.

Excerpt

The trip was designed to give him time. Time to figure out what he was going to say to Channing Lanier when he saw the sorry son of a bitch again.

He could start with “Hey, you rat bastard. Amazing how you came out after you dropped me like a hot rock.” That would be fun. Or maybe, “I thought you weren’t into spanking and bondage, and your precious asshole was sacrosanct, but now you’re a bottom in the underground BDSM scene,” would work better.

Bowie wouldn’t even be going to see said bottoming asshole if it wasn’t for the flyer tucked neatly away in his briefcase.

Tawny Catnip.

Seriously?

Their Emma was a fucking stripper?

A Vegas stripper? The revue was touted as a classy burlesque show and topless nightclub called Catnip Crazy.

Hell, the crazy thing was that both of his ex-lovers had called him a goddamn perv.

Him. Because he’d wanted them both. Because he’d wanted Emma over his lap. Because he’d wanted to see Channing bound and on his knees between the both of them.

Fuckers.
