This book was such a awesome add to this series!

I will admit I was not a fan of parts of the first book so I was unsure coming into this one and let’s just say this book blew me out of the water it was just so good! I thought what happened to Jerry and Flynn in this book was so funny had me laughing so much and then there were also parts that were harder too. You get your misunderstandings and angst on top of all the action, sprinkled with mystery, which I loved all of it together.
You get to see so much more of them as a couple and you also meet a lot of new characters too.
Then the end omg it was so I can’t even say without giving it away just wow! The author really grabbed me with this story and I loved the whole pretense of this book and the characters.

All together I really loved this book!

I would definitely recommend this book!

This is the second book in the Sixth Sense series and it leaves you hanging just as much as the first one, but in a totally different way.  Madison again, resolved some things, but left gaping holes in others.  I am unsure whether or not I am more frustrated or excited about what that means.
In this book, we get to see very different aspects of Flynn and Jerry.  Not only will they have to relearn what they believe to be true about themselves, but they will have to deal with hidden aspects of each other.  I really enjoyed how when they were searching for answers, we got to see a different side of Flynn.
However, Flynn also frustrated me beyond belief in this story.  I wanted to hit him upside the head with how he was making Jerry feel about their relationship – communication is not their strong suit.  I felt the struggle – the emotion that Jerry was going through – what I wish was that I was able to feel more of what Flynn was feeling.
Despite Flynn’s friends  and their less than stellar introduction, it was nice to see some of Flynn’s background.
I can’t wait to see what happens next – and I hope, with all of my fingers and toes crossed that things are resolved.

I really enjoyed this book which is the 2nd in the “Sixth Sense” series but I did have problems with it. The story begin six months after “Unspeakable Words.” This book continued with the rocky plot ideas that the first book started. Aside from all that the book did have mystery and suspense which is something I thoroughly enjoy from a book. The authors writing style was easy to read and that is what kept me interested in the book. This wasn’t a cliffhanger but it’s clear that more stories are coming and I can’t wait to read the next installment.

Excerpt

Jerry returned his attention to the tableau unfolding in the aisle. Flynn was making his way casually toward Jerry; he yawned, taking his time. 15-A hesitated; Jerry could see that he had stepped into the aisle, but was thinking of sitting back down again. Just then, the door to the toilet opened and the toddler came out into the aisle. Picking up on the air of tension, the child immediately started to wail.

15-A snapped like a wire stretched beyond its tensile strength. Whipping off his sunglasses, he reached into the pocket of his hoodie and pulled out a glass vial. Holding it up high over his head for everyone to see, he shouted, “Everybody stay where you are!”

People glanced up and turned around in their seats, startled and immediately alarmed. 15-A looked around sharply, making sure that no one was trying to rush him. Several people had started halfway up out of their seats to see what was going on; Jerry knew they were remembering United Flight 93.

15-a moved his hand in a broad semi-circle so that everyone could see the vial tucked in his palm. “I have Sarin!” he announced. “If anyone moves, I break the vial. Someone make that child shut up!” Continue reading

I will have to say this book had me going through all kinds of emotions. Jeff sold himself to men for money and pills, the person who got him started was in prison but his life was still a living hell. Scott, who we met in a previous book who was asked to come to the UK by “Jeff” and yes it was this “Jeff”, sets out to help Jeff and become his friend. Once again the Doms of Collars & Cuffs help Jeff settle down with someone who can help, Damian, who lost his sub a few years before to cancer. This story broke my heart and mended it back together. This book deals with several touchy subjects and was handled well. The buildup was worth the wait once again in this book. I love how it wasn’t BAM they are together. There was so much to work thru between Damian and Jeff not only together as a couple but separately. I cried a few times while reading this and it was a rollercoaster of a book but was so worth it. These books just trip my trigger and I love them!

Okay to start this review I would like to say I have never read about a relationship like this before.  So it was very different for me and I am still trying to wrap my head around it all. Now don’t get me wrong that does not mean I liked the book less because of it, because I still really loved this book. I just thought it was very different reading about this kind of relationship for me having never heard of that before.
Jeff was so hurt and broken when he came to Damian’s house for help.  Between the addiction and everything that had happened to him before my heart broke for him.
Damian.. What can I say about him besides I absolutely loved his character.  Yes he had something terrible happen in his past too.  The way he worked through it and took such good care of Jeff helping him through everything made me love his character more.
I loved the relationship together even though I am still wrapping my head around some of it I thought it worked for them.
Can I also say the ending of this book was so sweet!
So I will leave this review with I loved this book!  I would definitely recommend it!

Where to start.  I felt like I had read this story before, so for me, it was not as powerful of a story.  While I did enjoy the characters, there was just something about this particular story that I did not grasp at and grab on to like the others.  I tink also, this book echoed a lot of what the previous stories had already gone over.  Especially with Trusting Thomas.

While I enjoyed the relationship that Damian and Jeff created, which was not a BDSM relationship, I think that this book was just too much of the same for me to really enjoy it like I did the previous stories.

Jeff and Damian were a great pair.  Both were able to balance each other out.

ThreeandHalfStars

I really liked the way Damian and Jeff’s relationship evolved. Their relationship grew from mentor to friends to more and it worked perfectly in my mind.
However, that said I didn’t think the book so much fit in with the others in this series because it was more about a DD relationship, not BDSM. Also, the reoccurring theme of having lost a lover or having an abusive one in the past of both characters has started to make me not like the series as much as I once did.
Once Damian and Jeff worked through their issues and realized that they were exactly what the other wanted/needed they were great together.
I did feel that the book dragged at points and could’ve skipped a few scenes or shortened them drastically and still gotten the point across. And after all the build up of a DD relationship… it was a let down because there was only one scene where we really got to see it carried through.
It wasn’t the writing I didn’t like, but the predictability that seems to have come to this series with the characters.

THREE 5 and 4 Stars for A Dance with Domination (Collars & Cuffs #4) by K.C. Wells #MM #Romance @Dreamspinners

0.2

Title: A Dance with Domination (Collars & Cuffs #4)
Author Name: K.C. Wells
Publication Date & Length: May 23, 2014 – 220 pgs

Synopsis

Recently returned to the UK after living in the States since he was eleven, Andrew Barrett is determined to keep busy and make a new life for himself. He works full time as a copywriter and strips at a club on Canal Street on weekends. But it still leaves him too much time to think. Then he finds the BDSM club, Collars & Cuffs, where at twenty-nine, he is their youngest Dom. Young doesn’t mean inexperienced, however. All this activity keeps him focused with no time to dwell on the past. But the past has a way of intruding on the present.

It’s been four long years since Gareth Michaels last set foot inside Collars & Cuffs. But when he finally summons his courage and steps back into his former world, he finds the man who drove him away is still a member, and what’s more, he wants Gareth back. Two men in pain need the freedom they find in each other, but it takes another man’s horrific plans to make them see it.

LOVED Andrew.  He was the ultimate awesome Dom.  Even though he was sometimes thick headed, I really enjoyed his character.  I loved how he was able to bring a different type of domination to the stories.  He was confident, but in a more subdued way than one who wields pain for their subs.

Andrew folded right in to the mix of all of these characters so seamlessly.  It was great!  I loved how he took Dorian, the resident sub to a new place – he was not your typical Dom and even though he was still nervous for developing relationships, he took everything in stride.

Gareth’s innocence was so refreshing.  He did not know how to feel or how to figure out the feelings that Andrew instilled in him.  I loved how he was open and willing to seek out advice from friends and admired how he was able to stand his ground when he was feeling like he needed time to think.  He was an honest character and one that I really enjoyed.

I wanted so badly to hurt the Dom who had thrown Gareth away.  Plus, Gareth had to leave behind so many who loved him.  Like Andrew, they accepted Gareth right back, no questions and I loved that about the whole gang.

This story was a great one with a twist that I did not see coming, which I love!

OMG!! I loved this book so much! This by far was my favorite book of the series!
Gareth is one of my favorite characters now.  There is just something about a man who is quiet and who may have been hurt in the past, comes out of it stronger knowing what he wants and not willing to settle for less.  I love that trait in a character!
Andrew he came across as a strong Dom who knows what he is doing and is very caring while in a scene with his Sub.  Yes he his been through something terrible in the past but the way he worked through everything and knew that Gareth  was who he wanted.  Can I just say I loved his character too!
So my only complaint with this book was I just wanted there to more of Andrew and Gareth together, I just did not want to stop reading about them. I loved them as a couple and would have loved to have seen more of them in their Dom/ Sub relationship.
All together I absolutely 100% loved this book!  K.C. Wells has made a fan of me for M/M BDSM books. I would definitely recommend this book!

This is by far my favorite book in the series. I loved the fact that our Dom is a stripper and he does it because he enjoys it. Then again, so was our sub. It was an awesome, unexpected spin.
Both of our men are broken and just like every other book in this series they end up finding their perfect match.
This book we got some excellent BDSM scenes. They were FANTASTIC!!! Maybe that’s why I loved this book so much, not to mention Andrew was my favorite Dom so far with all his past experiences.
Woohoo! On to the next book in this brilliant series!

Andrew returns from the US and has a fulltime day job but strips part time for extra money at Bliss. I loved Bliss, the whole book could have been based at Bliss and I would have been happy. But Andrew wants more and finally decides to check out Collar & Cuffs and becomes the youngest Dom there. Gareth used to be a member of Collars & Cuffs until he was driven away by his ex, he hasn’t been there in years and when he finally goes back that man is still there and he is determined to get Gareth back. Once again there is a slow build up to the relationship between Andrew and Gareth and it was worth the wait to see these two together. Once again we got to see couples from previous books which is nice, I like seeing where they are and what they are up to. I enjoyed the book but liked more of the Bliss side with Ryder and Madison still a great addition to the series.

Ben and Scott… what a pair they make.  Both were so unsure of themselves.  Despite Ben’s outward appearance, he was self conscious about a lot in his life.  Then you have Scott, who is trying to be the person he wants, with stupid parents.

This story could have gone in so many different directions.  I loved where KC Wells took it.

The chemistry that is between both Ben and Scott is electric.  They fit each other well and seem to understand each other.

I wanted to do bodily harm to Ben in the name of Scott.  I hated that Scott’s family had so much influence over both of them.  Despite Ben being the Dom, again, I will say that he was awfully unsure of himself.

However, I did like that Ben’s friends were there to support him and even though they may not have agreed, it did not seem that they judged Ben, only worried for him.

In the end, it was a great story – heartbreak, redemption, forgiveness, love and friendship were all components in this story, which was deep and wonderful.

This story kind of scared me in the beginning I know all about people hooking up on the internet and then things go wrong. It is every parent’s nightmare! When Scott meets “Jeff” and then follows him to the UK my heart stops, I thought the worst! Thank goodness it didn’t end up as bad as it could have! While it seems unrealistic that someone would take you home after finding you at the airport you have to remember this is a story. I love how Ben wanted to keep Scott and take care of him but had other obligations with his sister and mom and then when the other Doms gave him money to help with the costs, he refused to use it. That to me was sweet, stupid at times but sweet. Sometimes I couldn’t feel the connection between Scott and Ben but other times I could, not sure why though. I will say that the virginity scene took my breath away. When Ben sends Scott away I was in tears, I wantd to reach through my kindle and slap him! Of course there is a happy ending and it was another great book in the series but not my favorite.

Angie

FourStars

Just like the other books in this series I really liked this book a lot!
Scott seemed some what immature to me in the first part of this book so it took me awhile to like his character.  I just did not see him really understanding what being a submissive really meant at first.  It starts making more sense as the book progresses  why he acts the way he does. After the way he was treated by his parents I could see why he felt the way he did. Once I understood him more, I ended up really liking his character.
Ben was a very good Dom when he stopped fighting himself so much.  I loved the way he takes care of Scott in this book and teaches him how to be his submissive  with so much patience. You could see how much he really did care for Scott. Of course there was a few parts where he made some really bad decisions that really hurt Scott.
All together I really liked this book and felt like Ben and Scott are a very good match for each other in their Dom/ Sub relationship.  I also wanted to added the ending of this book was so sweet I loved it!  I would definitely recommend this book!

Another great book by K.C. Wells with the addition of Parker Williams.
To be honest, I had a hard time with the first half of this book. I didn’t like how naive Scott was, not that there isn’t kids out there like him, I just couldn’t connect to him and that made it hard to read for me.
However, the second half of the book, it was so great. I liked seeing someone that didn’t have tons of money try to take care of the sub he cared for. It was a fresh perspective. There was a lot of emphasis on friendship in this book that we didn’t get in the other books.
It was the second half of the book that really did it for me. Their relationship was excellent to see develop.
Can’t wait to read the next part of the series.

This book dealt with abuse and the after affects. This wasn’t a hop into bed and fall in love story. This was about recovery, growth, friendship and then love. There was a big age gap between the two characters but it didn’t bother me and I thought it worked for Thomas and Peter. I liked how they settled into a routine and things worked up between them. I love how Peter and Alex become friends, I loved Alex in the previous book and it was good to see him again. There is angst in the book, due to Peter’s ex Curtis and the abuse is handled well. This was just a beautiful love story that grew over time and was well worth the wait.

Angie

FiveStars

I really enjoyed this story even with an age gap that was a bit more than I’d normally be comfortable with. The fact that there was such a description of how much power the sub has in a D/s relationship was great as well as all the rules that a dom should follow in order to be a good partner.
I’d loved to have seen more of the BDSM aspects than the D/s relationships in this series, however, I really felt like this book it was SO important to show the difference between a good dom and an untrained/bad dom/abuser.
The story overall was well written and flowed smoothly. I can’t wait to read which couple we will get to read about next in this series.
Renee

FourStarsThomas and Peter were two characters that were lost.  One fighting for his life and the other just struggling to remain engaged in life.  This book had a common theme in BDSM books of the abused sub and the alpha dominant.  However, this one had an added twist, which I thought helped to set the book apart from others.

You could really sense the level of trust that developed in this relationship and I think that helped in creating this genuine connection with the characters.

You still got to see the characters from book one, which was nice – they were ever helpful and were also those friends who prodded you to do things that you may not want.

The sexual tension for these characters was different than what you would normally find, but no less hot.  Overall, this was a feel good story that had a softer side to BDSM books.

AvidReader

FourStars

So to be completely honest I really liked this book and the characters, but the age gap made me a little uncomfortable.
I felt so bad for Peter and everything he had been through, to go through that much hurt and pain I could not even imagine.
The way Thomas was with him, teaching him how a submissive should be treated and how he for cared Peter. I really did love Thomas’s character and to me  he came across to me as the perfect Dom for Peter.
There was so much hurt and pain Peter went through in the beginning of this book I cried for him. I was also happy to see him work through the pain to find his happiness with Thomas.
Yes the age gap did bug me a little bit other then that I really liked this book! I would definitely recommend this book!

This book was great, even though it was dark read and I’m not much for dark reads. The authors were able to take too violentlyintimidating men and weave a story so completely passionate that it knocked my socks off. I feel in love with Dom almost immediately. Dom was clearly a monster and Seth a wimp. Seth clearly didn’t want any part of the family business but was drawn back into it through him being kidnapped.

Getting into the story I realized that Seth acting like a wimp was clearly a defense mechanism. I know I certainly would feel like that if my family was in the mafia. Can’t wait to see where the next book goes.

I LOVED this story.  Alex and Leo are perfectly paired.  They are able to grow individually in this story, which in turn allows them to grow together.  I absolutely hated Alex’s family at first.  Mom, dad and brother were all there to create havoc for Alex – there was no support and no where for him to turn.  I really wanted someone to stand up for him and I loved Leo even more when he was able to show Alex true support and what that would look like.

Despite Alex’s family – in the end, I loved just one member and despite it being a little too late, they were redeemed in my head.

This story had some serious sexual fun in it and the chemistry that was shared between these two was off the charts.  Each character wanted to protect the other, which I found a common theme, but one that worked in this story nonetheless.  I will definitely be enjoying the rest of this series!

I started with book 6, not knowing it was part of a series, loved it and had to go back to the beginning. So here I am at the beginning and I am hooked all over again!!! This book wasn’t very heavy on the BDSM but that was ok with me, it went with the story. This was a touching story about Leo and Alex. How can you not love these two? I felt the characters grow and get to know each other and fell in love with them. There was some angst, especially with Alex’s family, but who doesn’t have family drama/angst? I loved this book and the characters and will for sure read the entire series….and in order this time.

It is hard to put into words how much I loved this book!
I did go into this book nervous because I have read a few M/M Bdsm books before and honestly I did not care for them because I never felt that relationship between the Dom and Submissive.  With this book I felt it between Leo and Alex through the whole book.
Everything was explained in this book with what a relationship like this consists of perfectly. Leo was such a good Dom in this book and the way he cared for his submissive Alex was so sweet and caring.
There is a little angst with Alex’s family and I felt like it was handled very well.  I do not want to go into much more detail because I don’t want to give away any spoilers.
I will leave this review with K.C. Wells has definitely made me a fan of M/M Bdsm books now and I would 100% recommend this book!

I have to say after reading the sixth book in this series, I HAD to start at the beginning because I loved it so much. Sadly, I didn’t love this book as much as I thought I would though. Not that the writing wasn’t a good as I’ve come to expect from K.C. Wells, there was just something that didn’t work for me.
I felt like although the book was suppose to be about BDSM it was more vanilla. Although we did see a lot of the D/s side of their relationship so perhaps that was more of what Ms. Wells wanted to portray of the BDSM lifestyle.
I guess I just have to say that it was a good book, but for me it was… to fluffy and sweet and not what I expected. However, for those of you who are just dipping your toes into the BDSM books this might be exactly what you need. There is a lot of hints of what may be coming up in the next books in the series and that’s what has me super excited for the next book in the series.
