Episode one of a three part series.
Ends on a cliffhanger!
Bad Boys Club is a mature young adult romance. It includes excessive swearing, sensitive subject matter, and sexual situations.
This book did not go anything like I thought it would and honestly I did really like it. Some may not agree with me but my opinion of this book is there is more to what goes on sometimes behind someone being a bully.
In this case I think their are many factors as to why Rulen is such a bully towards Oliver. I honestly think that Rulens “dad” has done some major damage to him. I think that he has forced things to happen between the two of them that should not have happened and I think that because of that it has made it harder for him to accept that he is and has been attracted to Oliver. I also think another reason he bullied Oliver is because in some weird way like little kids do, he is picking on the one he likes trying to get him to notice him. But because of the type of relationship he has had with his father, he does not how to go about expressing how he feels in a normal way. He has his emotions wrapped up so tight that picking on Oliver is the only way he is able to let them out even if it is not a healthy way of going about it. I also believe that Rulen being with Jill is also a way for him to be with Oliver without actually being with him. I just think that all of that is going to crap because he is getting to the point that he cannot stay away from Oliver any longer.
As far as Oliver is concerned I think that ever though he hates being bullied by Rulen, that he has always had a crush on him. I also think that he hates that he does because of his sister but the attraction is so strong between the two that it is impossible for them to stay away from one another, even if they try to I don’t think they will be able to.
I am really wanting to read the next book so I an see what is going to happen because it can go so many ways. I know what I hope happens but I want to wait and see what will happen and if it is anywhere close to what I hope comes of this story.
Title: Bound (Clipped Saga #2)
Author Name & Publisher: Devon McCormack (Wilde City Press)
Publication Date & Length: September 23, 2015 — 304 pages
Warning: This title is erotic and contains homosexual content, graphic sex, violence, and strong language.

Devastated by the loss of his greatest love, Kinzer doesn’t believe he’ll ever find happiness again. But when he meets the immortal Hayde, he discovers all hope might not be lost after all.
The angel Treycore’s ex-girlfriend abducted his lover Kid and dragged him into the bowels of Hell. Now, Treycore searches for an entry into the immortal realm. But only one creature can assist him on his quest: Eilee, the most beautiful of the angels and another of Treycore’s previous lovers. After the war between Heaven and Hell, Eilee lost her mind and went on a murderous rampage. With her guidance, Treycore descends into Hell and battles God’s earliest creations as they journey to save Kid from the sadistic clutches of his villainous ex.
This series just keeps getting better and better. I would still classify it as a dark erotic read. But I have to say that I am really loving the series.
There is so many twist and turns that you do not know what is coming from one paragraph to the next. Then there are more and mor surprises every time you turn around. Devon McCormack definitely knows how to bring mystery, intrigue, and suspense to his books
This book in particular has ex’s that are out for revenge, evil beings turning against there bosses, enemies becoming lovers, friends that fight a good fight but do not survive, those that we thought could not possibly make it out alive being rescued by the one they love, and those that should never become allies becoming so much more.
With each page you think you finally have it figured out only to be thrown for another loop and discover that things are not what they seem to be and neither are the people.
Such a fascinating read that I could not put it down and I cannot wait for the next book in series. So please hurry with the next book Devon cause I am curious to see what happens next and what you come up with.
Triggers: Extreme sex (blood involved), tentacles, breath play, sadistic sword sex (just a little) and it’s fairly violent.
I was given this book for an honest review by Inked Rainbow Reads.
This second installment has more action involved – more mystery and the characters seem to be more involved with the plot of finding the secret weapon – trying to defend the world. While it’s not that much different than the first book, there is still hot, winged, forceful sex, but the characters seem to develop more of a relationship – you get to see their reasons behind their actions.
The characters think more in this story – it’s more dialogue and more figuring out how to save the world. I will admit that despite my reservations from the first story, this one did keep my attention a little more because there seems to be many more story lines going on. Finding a love, developing relationship, searching for a child, hiding from the enemy – all of these intermingle throughout and create this almost epic story.
Overall, I enjoyed this story a little more than the first and it definitely left me wanting to know what happens next, but I was also disappointed too – and still, at certain points of the story was trying to figure out who was who, their past relationships and how everything and everyone fit together.
