Title: Bells and Balls (With a Kick #4)
Author Name: Sue Brown
Publication Date & Length: December 28, 2014 – 96pgs
I’m not usually one for overtly manly men, but in this case, I’ll make an exception because Rob and Mick are so utterly loveable that it’s impossible not to like them both. I enjoyed the fact that although there was some gentle humor about their manliness, none of it was over-the-top and it was clearly all in fun rather than a pointed reminder to the reader that they were “real men.”
It was fun seeing Rob go from seemingly shallow to someone who cared a lot about the people around him. The supporting cast were delightful, and there was a fair amount of turning the typical cliches into fun twists.
The relationship between Rob and Mick unfolded at a nice pace given the length of the story, and it demonstrated that there doesn’t need to be graphic content in order for there to be plenty of steamy romance.
I’m glad I picked this one up!

Sue Brown is owned by her dog and two children. When she isn’t following their orders, she can be found at university listening to lecturers discuss long-dead theologians. In her head, however, she’s plotting how to get her cowboys into bed together; she just hopes the lecturer doesn’t ask her any questions.
Sue discovered M/M erotica at the time she woke up to find two men kissing on her favorite television series. The series was boring; the kissing was not. She may be late to the party, but she’s made up for it since, writing fan fiction until she was brave enough to venture out into the world of original fiction.
