Author Name & Publisher: Caitlin Ricci and Cari Z. (Dreamspinner Press)
Publication Date & Length: November 30, 2015 – 32 pgs

Synopsis

When Tate promises his niece Addie he’ll get a book signed by her favorite author, he never expects to end up in a line four blocks long with sleet coming down around him. It’s three days until Christmas and he’s cold and miserable, but Addie will be devastated if he gives up.

A cute guy who offers him an umbrella is just the encouragement Tate needs to stick it out, especially when Brandon brings him something hot to drink. But the signing ends before Tate can get to the front of the line, and Tate is sure he’s ruined Christmas for his niece. Luckily Brandon gets him in to see the author, who happens to be his mother.

A simple thank you isn’t enough for Tate, and neither he nor Brandon wants to end things there. For two men unused to such an instant mutual attraction, the Christmas season just got a little more merry.

FiveStars

Oh, this was such a CUTE story. I loved the premise and the nod toward authors/readers… and their families.
I would’ve liked a bit more of a well rounded ending, but it was still a really great little story about an unexpected meeting that brought two men together who would’ve likely never met otherwise.
I would love to read more about these two men and where they end up going as a couple.

FourStars

This was a very cute story about Tate who is standing in line to get a book signed for his niece when he meets the authors son in line. He does not realize it at the time though.

I thought this story was so cute and the attraction between these two men was so sweet!

All together I really liked this holiday story!
I would recommend this!

This was a really short and sweet story but not much of an ending. The ending just kind of leaves you hanging. The authors just make you love both Tate and Brandon and I did. I really would like to hear more about Tate and Brandon. It just kind of felt incomplete. The meet and went out together and even agreed to spend Christmas together and it just ends. I suppose that may be the authors leaving things up to the reader imagination but I really wanted more. Overall I really loved the book.

She has always been a voracious reader and that love of the written word easily morphed into a passion for writing. She also enjoys gardening and horseback riding in the Colorado Rockies where she calls home with her wonderful fiance and their dog. Her belief that there is no one true path to happily ever after runs deeply through all of her stories.

Cari Z.

Cari Z. is a Colorado girl who loves snow and sunshine. She has a wonderful relationship with her husband, a complex relationship with the characters in her head and a sadomasochistic relationship with her exercise routine. She feels like Halloween should happen every month, which is why you get this picture of her, and hopes that you enjoy reading what she’s put out there as much as she enjoyed writing it in the first place.
