TWO 5 Star, ONE 4.5 Star and TWO 4 Star Reviews for The Perfect Sub (Iron Eagle Gym #2) by Sean Michael #MM #BDSM

CoverTitle: The Perfect Sub (Iron Eagle Gym #2)
Author Name & Publisher: Sean Michael (Dreamspinner Press)
Publication Date & Length: March 28, 2016 – 220 pgs

Synopsis

While new couple Tide and Lance spend time deepening their relationship and further introducing Lance to the joys and vagaries of being a sub, established couple Tyrone and Bran discover that they still have a thing or two to learn as well.

A new job finds Bran run off his feet, and a visit to the eye doctor leads to the discovery of a brain tumor. Bran is terrified. He strives to be the perfect sub for his beautiful master and sees the tumor as a personal failing as he tries to handle every last phone call, e-mail, and text that comes in, no matter how early or late. When Tyrone finally finds out about the tumor Bran’s been keeping a secret, he realizes he’s been taking his sub for granted, and he works to rediscover his boy and their relationship. Of course, that’s easier said than done given that Bran’s job is taking up all his time and he would rather pretend the tumor just doesn’t exist than actually deal with it.

It’s going to take all of Tyrone’s prowess as a master to help guide Bran through these troubled waters.

Chock full of hot steamy sex, this book also has lots of heart. We met both Bran and Tyrone and Tide and Lance in the first book of the series. This book seems to pick up right at the end of that book. We see Tide and Lance growing closer and closer. Bran and Tyrone who have been together for years seem to drift a little but nothing really noticeable for either of them or really even the reader until Bran gets bad news from the doctor. I just love how these two couples are always so loving and affectionate to each other not only as couples but as friends too. I hope there will be another book in the series, I love these two couples and I am not ready to say goodbye to them yet.

This book is basically a continuous of book one. It pretty much picks up where book one ended. The only difference is there is more of Bran And Tyrone’s point of view through out this book along with Lance and Tide.

In this book I was able to see that Lance and Tide where able to feel more comfortable in their relationship. I feel that theirs is more of a relationship and less based around the BDSM lifestyle. I feel like they practice parts of the BDSM lifestyle but they r definitely not 24/7. I feel like each day that passes Lance was more comfortable in his own skin and that Tide is really good for Lance because Lance feels like he has the freedom to be himself and enjoy his desires because Tide supports him in his choices. They really are a great couple in my opinion.

Tyrone and Bran have been together for a long time in what I would definitely say is a 24/7 Dom/Sub lifestyle. They know each other’s wants and needs but I feel like they have gotten complacent in their relationship and do not realize they are not meeting each other’s emotional needs any longer but instead only the physical needs. Don’t get me wrong they are still a very much strong couple in my opinion but I feel like maybe they are too comfortable with each other and I believe that Brans tumor scare is exactly what they needed even though I wish I could have happened in a better way.

Bran and Tyrone have to reevaluate their relationship and make changes and I believe this is a very good thing we’re their relationship is concerned and I have no doubt that hey will continue to be a very strong, loving couple in future books in this series.

I cannot wait till the next one comes out if their is a next one that is. I enjoyed getting to know these two couples and hope to read more about them in the future.

This was a really excellent book by Sean Michael. This is far from the first book I’ve read by this author and can’t say I was every disappointed. In this book we focus mainly on Bran and Tyrone but still have time seeing how Tide and Lance are building their relationship. This story didn’t just have BDSM and sex; it was quite clearly a love story. No it was not your typical love story but Sean Michael was able to show you that love can blossom anywhere as long as you nurture it. That obvious became the problem with Bran and Tyrone. It was great to see them work through their problems and overcome them. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves BDSM but HOT sex but you most definitely get both in this book.

This was a good story, but not great for me.  I really enjoyed the first book and was slightly let down with this one.

Tide and Lance’s relationship is a sexual as ever and they are still learning to trust in each other.  Despite Lance’s reservations, he learns that he can enjoy spending time with Tide at the Iron Eagle Gym.  I thought it was so sweet that Tide wanted Lance to feel comfortable with himself, in the knowledge that Tide found Lance’s physique appealing, despite Lance feeling like a bean pole.

I wish that we would have gotten more photo sessions in this one, as those were always hot.

Then you have Bran and Tyrone’s relationship.  They seem to struggle a bit more in this story, despite seeming like the more established relationship.  Bran has lost his trust in himself and his Dom.  When he finds himself in denial about what’s happening around him, it takes a strong, firm, loving Dom – Tyrone, to bring him back to himself.  Tyrone questions his ability to care for Bran when he finds out after the fact from Bran, about the health issue he is facing.  The scenes of bringing them back together – seriously hot.

What I didn’t enjoy about this story as much, and I can’t believe I am going to say this, is that there was almost too many sex scenes.  It seemed like they were scattered all over and that was the majority of the book.  I wish the story had been more in-depth – less about their pleasure and more about real life.

However, it was a good story and I always enjoy books by Sean Michael.

This was more than just a BDSM story. The love and respect between these couples was amazing. I enjoyed how the story was multi-person POV. Bran was just adorable and his fears were real. It took Tyrone to go back to basics and show the love of his life, his true love. It was scary knowing the secret Bran was keeping until Tyrone stepped in. I enjoy that these two set of couples are friends and can open and honest and flirtatious with each other. You could feel the continuing developing relationship between Tide and Lance. The sex was not only hot but the compassion for each other could be felt. My only issue was that the actual problem of the brain tumor was identified late in the story and resolved quite quickly. I would have liked to have read more about the conflict and feel Tyrone’s fear of the possibility of losing Bran more than I did. I do hope we get to see more of these fabulous men.

What is it like to be a professional baseball player and to be in the closet? Well that is what this book is exactly about. It is not always easy to gay out in theopen because so many people are negative about it but to be a professional baseball player in a game where it is not always easy to let you guard down because you do not know who will turn on you or who is homophobic, it does not make it easy for two players that have stayed in the closet for this very reason. Both Matt and Iggy are professional ball players and both are in the closet and both are in a relationship together.

This in my opinion is a book about finally having the courage to stand up for what you believe in. It should not matter if a player is gay or not but that sometimes is just not the reality because of fear of coming out.

Once Matt retires and decides to finally come clean about his sexual status due to wanting to live in the open and no longer lie about it, it changes things for Iggy and gives him the courage to do the same even though he is still an active player. These two men love each other so much. They encourage one another to follow their dreams and desires regardless of what others may think. They stand behind one another’s decisions and they lend each other support when the other needs it. Most of all they do not let negativity in the world come between them, they do the opposite and give each other strengths and love.

This was a very good read and I enjoyed every bit of it. It is a very inspirational story and I only hope others enjoy it as much as I did.

Well, that was a flashback to my college time, and blushing at the memories. This story was well written and brought a real-life feel to college days. Oh things that we did….ok, time to move on before I get all flushed.

I really enjoyed Ethan and Greg. I felt like I was on an old-fashion balancing scale. The scale was heavily tipped one way at the beginning. While Greg got Ethan to open up and grow out of his shell, the scale started to balance and the two were having all sorts of physical fun all across campus. The chemistry between these two was hot and intense. I enjoyed the casual time the two shared, like sitting on the grass outside of a coffee shop and just opening themselves up. But as Ethan grew into himself, Greg started closing up and the scale started to tip the other way. Just when we thought Ethan and Greg were done (and you start not liking Greg), something happens and Greg is there to rescue Ethan. Greg sees how much he has hurt Ethan, and truly accepts himself for who he is and what he wants to do and the scale is balanced in the world.

Greg got bonus points for wanting to be a special education teacher, as I am one too. 🙂 The ending did seem a little rushed but after the build up, the crush, and rooting for them, you just were happy that they had each other.

This story is told from Ethan’s POV, and we get to see his character development from the inside and how matures and becomes a social little butterfly. I wished we could have had Greg’s POV at times, but it all worked out perfectly.

Overall, this was a low angst, fun loving, sexy romance read. I read it in one sitting as I could not stop wanting to know where all over campus they were spending smexy times. This is shaping up to be a fabulous series.

ThreeStar
A sweet, fun read about two college guys turning from enemies to lovers. Greg pushes all Ethan’s boundries and they’re hot together. Greg is the life of the party while Ethan whats to be more like Greg, but he’s insecure. Overall it’s like a coming of age story in a college life.
Greg’s a closet case so there’s a lot of hot and cold towards his relationship with Ethan. I felt bad for that and got annoyed. Still, fun read.

I jumped into this series with book. This short story packed a lot in. There was action, suspense, sexy times, thoughtful conversations, story building and character development.
Digger and Reef actually are quite perfect for each other. They understand each other in ways that mean the most for relationships. Once Digger got over the shock of Reef being a shark, he knew he loved him. It goes to show love always wins.
The back story intrigues me and now that the action of saving the scrolls has begun, I am more intrigued. I am now going to go back to the beginning and start the whole series and continue with the series when each book continues to be published.

Wow…..what more can I say. Thirds just keeps getting better and better.

With each book more and more comes to light. The people you think are good are really bad and the people you think are bad are really good. You never really know who to trust until the very end.

This book is primarily based around Cael and Ash. These are two people you would think would make an unlikely pair. They are so opposite that it is not even funny.

Ash is this brash, out spoken, no non sense, hard a&&. Where Cael is sweet, trusting, open hearted person. These two actually balance each other nicely and make the perfect couple. But even with the perfect couple they still have hardships, trust issues, and past heart ache they have to overcome to find their balance.

Of Dex and Sloane are in this book and constantly becoming a stronger, more solid couple that are always going to be my favorites. I love seeing their relationship bloom.

As always the thirds agents are out to protect and serve and face all the troubles head own as a united team. This book is no exception.

Another win for Charlie and I have a feeling the best is still to come.

The THIRDS saga is still going strong with this one told mostly from the perspectives of Ash and Cael.

It’s a refreshing change to see things from the new perspectives. And it’s nice to get to get caught up in a new romance even while in the midst of a longer series.

In the previous stories I was able to predict the outcome of the mysteries fairly early on (to some degree at least). This is the first one that really had me guessing, and I loved not being able to guess at what was coming.

I highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys not only a great M/M Romance story but also a strong genre plot (Paranormal, Urban Fantasy, Shapeshifters, Mystery and Crime).

Awe, I am so happy these two FINALLY got their stuff together!!!! I just love this series and can’t get enough of it! Ash has good reasons for being scared but he knows that if he keeps his crap up that he will lose the best thing ever, Cael. Dex and Sloane weren’t the main characters this time and I found that refreshing, we still see them and the rest of the team but it was nice to get to have the full focus on Ash and Cael. I also love how Ash and Dex seem to sort of get a long now….I mean they do but they don’t, Ash will still give Dex grief but he is there when Dex needs him and that just makes you fall more in love with Ash once you find out all the back story. I can’t wait to read the next book to see what happens, I am addicted!

Well this was a whole different type of read than the previous 4. That may be expected as it is with a different couple and that means different personalities. Not everyone can be Dex and Sloane. Even with that said, this was only maybe a 4.5 read. We have always been in Dex and Sloane’s pocket so we never knew how Ash and Cael spent their own time together and now we do. Be prepared to go visit the dentist afterwards though. This one was more of a sweet romance with a few action scenes sprinkled throughout verse being balanced or heavy on the action side or smexy side.
This one starts off where the prior stopped and that was Tony pulling Ash and Sloane in to have the “dad talk” with his Old Betsy. I loved how Tony was daddy protective of Cael, but he had respect for Ash. I think Tony was able to see Ash’s caring side toward Cael from day one and we know Ash is protective of Cael. I think Tony just needed to nudge Ash in the right direction to start seeing it himself.
I loved the holiday scenes. We get to see all sorts of sides from the Maddox/Daley family. I enjoyed getting to know Tony more. He is such a strong, supportive, loving and funny man. I wish I could have had a father like him. It was good to see a different side of Ash. The big bad lion can never always be the tough guy. He does have a heart and we get to see it. It was just painful to see him wrestle with his heart and realize the multiple uses for it. Cael was amazing in how he is so patient waiting for Ash, knowing Ash is the man for him. But, Cael is his own man too, and he needs to do things for himself.
It was a fun field trip to get to see other characters through new POVs. I think this will help balance the book so it’s not always Dex and Sloane. I love all the characters and expect to have different feels while reading their own stories. I must say, Sparks, she is one tough cookie and definitely do not want to run into her in a dark ally. Austen has sunk his claws in my heart and I am hoping we get a story for him.
It always amazes me how authors can write a character that you are not a fan of in the beginning (Ash) but then find yourself rooting for them. I am hoping with Hobbs story next, Rafe will be able to thaw the frozen shield of emotions for him. I have a feeling something big is/has brewing/brewed with him which is why he is the way he is. But for now, I must toughen my shield around my heart for Calvin and Hobbs, I have a feeling tissues are going to be needed for Hobbs’ story.

This was such a lighthearted and fun read. I couldn’t help but keep laughing throughout the whole story. How can one not love Marty and his quirkiness. He makes up stories to deal with issues and deflect negativity. The problem is now (thanks to his sister) is that he has to produce said made up boyfriend or be more ridiculed than ever before, but where is he going to find one at the last minute? Enter Luke aka Tim (Marty’s underwear cover model boyfriend). Luke needs a place to lay low and he just so happens to look like a underwear cover model, so Marty has gone to heaven with along with his father’s lucky coin. These two are quite a pair of comedians that can heat up the pages. Luke just happens to get better and better as he keeps surprising you and of course Marty.
This story at times seems to be completely unimaginable but it comes across with a good balance of action, chemistry, love and finding yourself. Flores writes a tale that when it almost gets to the point of eye rolling, you find yourself laughing and turning the pages to know what will happen next. So if you are wanting a good book to read to laugh and just have a good time, then this is it.

This was a really great story. I’ve come to love Jacob Flores, his writing style is so easy to read and he always injects wit and humor into the story. I loved Marty from the beginning and loved his family. It is clear that they have friendship along with the love of family. Luke and Crispy were amazing also. This was an insta-love type of story (which I don’t read much of) but between Marty and Luke it was just great. Marty was a geeky but sweet man and Luke a HOT undercoverFBI agent that just steals the show. This book is from Dreamspinners, Dreamspun Desires series which means that is not a lot of sex but when they do it is HOT and of course they do get there HEA. Can’t wait to see what the author comes up with for the next in the series.

Triggers:  Gang violence, lying, attempted kidnapping, attempted murder

I want to start out by saying that I found the beginning of this story somewhat confusing.  I understood the premise and kind of what was going on, but the story begins by just thrusting the reader in to Luke’s situation.

With that being said, I did enjoy this story a lot once I was more in to it.  I found that the characters were thoughtful and I liked how the story developed.

Marty was kind of annoying at times.  I felt that he was too dependent on his imaginary friends, family and running from things.  Despite him having a social life, it seemed that he was stunted in a way you normally read in YA stories.  However, he did grow in to himself during the story.

Then you have Luke.  He is the hunk of an FBI agent who finds himself in a tight spot.  While I wouldn’t say that he’s stunted – he seems scared of commitment and we are not really given a reason for that.

When these two characters meet – you kind of see that opposites really can attract.  But, then you start to unravel the story and you realize that this is much larger than just the romance between Marty and Luke.

I found the mystery aspect of the story somewhat predictable, but it was a good story, regardless.  What I did find somewhat frustrating was that I was not satisfied with the “resolution” that was the betrayal that Luke was facing.  It seemed too perfectly packaged.

Overall, this turned in to a sweet story, with good secondary characters who helped push the story along.

This is a fun, romantic romp. When undercover FBI agent Luke meets comic book geek Marty, sparks and bullets start to fly.

Full of miscommunication, secrets and one dimensional characters, this predictable story is a more engaging read than the blurb might suggest. Yes, we’ve all seen this movie and we’ve met these characters before, but this is a surprisingly satisfying (if mindless) summer beach read.

There is a little too much going on in a relatively short story for much character development, but the Mafia and FBI excitement at an unsuspecting family wedding is exciting and fully entertaining.

I enjoyed this fun, slightly silly and completely implausible story and I would recommend it to anyone looking for an easy, entertaining beach read this summer.

Sarah

FiveStars

This book has a whole lot of lying, a whole lot of trouble, an undercover FBI agent, and a guy who loves super Hero’s and not used to standing up for himself,,,,,, what is not to love. This book was funny, full of mischief, and it has some really sexually charged men who try to keep their distance between one another.

Marty in my opinion is a guy who keeps to himself because he believes that no one could ever fall for his nerdiness live for comic book hero’s or the fact that he is not masculine like a lot of guys. He thinks he is too nerdy for someone else to want to be with him. I think that is a lot of his problem, he does not have a lot of self confidence and lets everyone walk all over him. Or at least he does until he meets the guy that is about to change everything for him…. Luke.

Luke in my opinion does not get to close to anyone because of what happened to his family when he was still a little boy. He has put everything into his job with the FBI and does not have much of a life. When his cover is blown sky high he needs to go under the radar and fast, so why not take Marty up on his offer to be his pretend boyfriend in front of his family. But when does pretend turn to more and what do you do about it when it can put the first person you have let into your life into danger.

This book was a very exciting read. Their is twist and turns at every corner and you do not know who is the mole in all of this till the very end. Really enjoyed this book and I think that Jacob Z Flores did an amazing job on it. Cannot wait to read more book by Jacob. Truly a very good author.

This series just keeps getting better and better. I found myself wanting to cry at times, laughing out loud at some of the antics that go on, wanting to yell at the characters to “RUN” or “DONT GO IN THERE”. I did not that think that Charlie could make me love Dex and Sloane anymore then possible but it happened.

Throughout this series I continually find myself cheering for the good guys and hoping the bad guys do not win. This is one action packed book that you feel like you know what is going to happen then takes a complete turn and goes he opCharlie Cochet did it again. The author grabbed my attention from the first sentence in Thirds-Rack & Ruin. This book is once again a Home run for Charlie.

Dex, Sloane, Cael, Ash, and the rest of the Thirds team is back again working hard to take down the bad guys while trying to save as many lives as they can and staying safe in the process.

In this book we learn more about Ash and more about his past. Along the way I really started to question exactly what type of guy Ash really is and if he was the mole that everyone was trying to find.

Dex and Sloane still continue to work at their work relationship along with their personal relationship.

Through all the trails and tribulations each of the characters face, I cannot help but feel their pain, their frustration, their happiness, their wariness, and all the other emotions that Charlie has been able to pull off in a single book.

As I said in the beginning, I was hooked from the get go. It is hard to put down a book that you feel like you are apart of to do simple things like eat, sleep, clean, etc and this is definitely one of those books.

I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a book that has romance, action, mystery, and a well unfolded story line.

This story had it all! It starts exactly where Rack & Ruin ended and let me tell you…thank goodness because that ending, I mean…I don’t think my heart was able to take it if it started anywhere else. My heart was in complete turmoil.
The beginning… An explosion!!! It makes you and Dex crumble. As much as I love Dex’s humor, we get see to see his soft, teddy bear, loving side. We also get a few uh-oh moments, holding your breath with Tony.
The middle… More couple development with Ash/Cael and Calvin/Hobbes with their emotions and possessiveness starting to show. More humor from Dex. More insights to the emotional side of the Therians which was needed, to really understand the difference of humans verse the shifters. Of course, hot and steamy sex from Dex and Sloane and oh my, my, my. Sloane is very much more hot being protective and alpha. The claiming? Holy hotness!!!
The ending… Tony is such a crack up. He is being a true dad to his two boys, or shall I say to the intended love of his two boys. He brings Old Betsy out to play with Sloane and Ash. Cael and Dex are just too funny when Tony comes in. But Sloane is pretty much let off the hook for even attempting to truly love the crazy Dex. But Ash? Oh, poor lion. Lion meets big bad daddy with a bat of the man I love, and I would lose my voice as well. But Tony just cracks me up. Thank goodness I can go straight into Against the Grain to find out how that conversation goes.
This story just keeps you going with action, humor and smexy times. It is a fabulous story to set up the reader for Cael & Ash and Calvin & Hobbs.

This book picks up right where Rack & Ruin left off. When Sloane is almost killed Dex decides to take things into his own hands. There is so much in this book, you have the recovery of Sloane, Dex lying to Sloane, and Sloane knowing that Dex is lying. A team working together, because they are family and will do anything for each other, action, tension and lastly, love. Each book gets better and better and I fall in love more and more with Dex and Sloane and all the others on the team. I can’t wait to jump into the next book to see what happens next. I seriously hope that Ash and Cael get their stuff together, I wanna see them happy!!!

Just when I was starting to think that this series wouldn’t have any more surprises, this book comes along. I will freely admit there were moments of tears as well as laugh-out-loud moments. Charlie Cochet once again pulls out all the stops with this great THIRDS adventure.
Although heartbreaking at times, it’s really interesting to see Dex’s detective side come out. His struggles are shown in a very real and relatable way. This story also delves deeper into the mysteries of the Therians and more specifics about the human-animal dynamic, which I find fascinating.
It’s great to see the core cast of characters grow as Lou and Austen take on more important roles in this book. I hope to see more of them as the story continues.
I highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys not only a great M/M Romance story but also a strong genre plot (Paranormal, Urban Fantasy, Shapeshifters, Mystery and Crime).

Title: Out on a Limb (Browerton University #2)
Author Name & Publisher: A. J. Truman
Publication Date & Length: April 16, 2016 – 358 Pages

Synopsis

No looking back.

That’s the motto of college senior Cameron Buckley, whether he’s kicking his latest hookup out of bed or plotting out his future as a hit screenwriter. With only a few weeks until graduation, he’s ready to put Browerton University in his rearview mirror and start the life he’s been dreaming of ever since he was a kid. But a chance meeting with a sexy stranger in a bar throws a wrench into his Hollywood plans.

For Walker Reed, no looking back is hard to do when you work minutes away from your alma mater and share child custody with your college sweetheart. Almost fifteen years after graduating from Browerton, he can’t stop wondering how he got here. He has an ex who can’t stand him, a five-year-old son he can’t connect with, and a dead-end job he can’t escape.

When Cameron and Walker first meet, they know the rules. They know their friendship has an expiration date, yet it begins changing them in ways they never expected. As graduation looms, they both know things can’t go anywhere, but they can’t keep denying the feelings pulling them closer, even as an offer from Hollywood threatens to tear them apart forever.

OUT ON A LIMB is a gay new adult romance filled with humor, heart, and hot guys. It’s the second full-length book in the Browerton University series, but can be read as a standalone. The book is intended for readers 18+.

So far both of the books in this series has been top notch. AJ Truman knows go to drawl you in to a book and hold you captive to the very end. This book did exactly that.

Cameron in my opinion, even though is very determined to make something of himself as a screenwriter, is scared. I believe he is scared to let his friends get to close, he is scared to go against what his mom thinks is best for him, and he is scared to admit that Cameron and Hobie have found their way into his heart and he does not know how to let them go.

Walker is also scared in my opinion but it is a different scared. He is scared to go after what he wants. He settles in a career that he does not particularly like and he settles in his love life or lack their of. But I think that it is his ex that finally made him open his eyes to what he is really scared of which is failure.

Both of these two men are both scared but for different reasons and I think that it takes them loving and losing each other to finally open their eyes to what they are doing. The question is, will they let those eye openers be enough for them to find their way back to one another or will they take another path and find someone new.

As I said, AJ Truman has a way of sucking you into the books and they do not let you go until the very end. I cannot wait for he next book in this series.

What’s your dream? Dreams are all around us. During our sleep, driving to work, even in a coffee shop. Cameron and Walker help each other find their dream and make it come alive.

These two were perfect for each other. The readers could see it, their friends could see it, but could they see it? Cameron never looked back when he walked away from something or someone, until he met Walker and his son Hobie. Cameron had a dream, was graduating from college and he was focused to live it. Even if it meant he was walking away from Walker to the other side of “the rug.” Cameron had to realize that his dream could be lived from anywhere in the world, he was just too focused on Hollywood, and almost lost Walker for good.

Walker was a divorced dad that was just living on auto-pilot until he met Cameron. Cameron helped him out of the grays of the world and into the colorful life that dreams are made of. He is a fabulous dad to Hobie. Hobie, to me, stole the show. Not only does he weasel is way into Cameron’s heart, he is right there in yours. Walker realizes what happened to his dream right out of college with his ex-husband and he didn’t want to be responsible for that guilt if he allowed Cameron stay behind and not pursue his dreams. He soon realized that dreams came in different packages, and Cameron was his dream and couldn’t give it up.

The only problem for me was that most of the book, these two seemed to be away from each other more than they were together. Granted when they were together it was powerful and you could feel the chemistry, but something was missing. The last quarter of the book, the two were living on opposite sides of the US and not speaking to each other. It pained me to read that part. It felt like we were back at the beginning of a new book. Yes, it was needed to help fuel the need and desires between them, but it hurt. The ending was so quick, I felt like I was dropped off a cliff, even though there was a mattress at the bottom with regards to the last page. Again, Hobie stole it.

Overall, this was a good read. I enjoyed seeing Ethan and Greg from the first book, and getting updates on them. The flow and writing was smooth.  Cameron and Walker were well-developed characters that went through a real life struggle that I believe we all can relate to. I look forward to the next book in this series.
