As a huge fan of the series, this was even better than I’d hoped for. With the main series story arc over, there is time in this book for Calvin and Hobbs to properly develop as characters and finally finish the evolution from friends to lover.

As a selective mute, Ethan is only previously explored through his actions and the perceptions of other characters. it was wonderful to finally read his voice and hear his thoughts. His backstory is finally fully explored in book six and it would be impossible not to love all three Hobbs men after reading this.

The relationship between Calvin and Ethan is longer and more complicated than suggested in other stories. I loved their whole story and I loved them even more as a couple after learning their history.

There is much less action and angst in this book than in earlier books. For me, this was great. The training scenes, the routine call-outs, the social – I loved the slightly slower pace and the ability to see the characters I’ve come to love as couples and friends outside of battle situations.

What will she think of next and when will the next book in the series be released….

This book was not as action packed as the rest of the books but that does not mean that it was not as good as the rest in the series.

This book is primarily based around Ethan and Calvin. Their relationship has been based off of being best friends but along the way they have both fallen in love with one another. Ethan has disorders that has always affected him but when it comes to Calvin he finds a way to not that hinder their relationship.

Ethan is truly an exceptionally strong person because he fights to overcome all of the obstacles in his life such as his mutism. He could let that dictate how he lives and not strive to achieve what he wants out of his life but he does the opposite and fights for love and his family instead. He is someone that everyone should look up too.

Calvin has always had Ethan’s back and he know that Ethan is a strong person because most people would give up and not do what they have to in order to overcome disabilities. He is the voice for Ethan when he cannot have one for himself. Calvin is truely a hero in my eyes

Much like the rest in the series, this book ends in a cliff hanger and I personally can not wait till the next book comes out.

This book is honestly inspirational in my opinion and if u do not read it then u are missing out on something wonderful.

I thought this book was such a awesome addition to this series!

Okay so I have been waiting for Calvin and Hobbs book for awhile because there was just something about these two characters that I just wanted to know more about and this book did not disappoint at all.

Calvin and Hobbs as a couple are just so sweet and can I say the steam between these two men was so very hot! There was action in this book along with angst and on the edge of your seat moments too! But lets not forget the humor though because so many times while I was reading this book I laughed so hard at something one of these characters would do there were tears in my eyes. Which brings me to the fact you will get to see so much of the previous characters in this series in this book which I loved so much! Getting to see where everyone was at now was awesome!

I thought this author did such a amazing job with this story and these characters! I do not want to give away any spoilers so I will leave this review with… I 100% loved this book and would recommend this series!

As happy as I was to see Ash and Cael together finally I am even happier about Calvin and Ethan. Your heart just breaks for Evan and all he has been through and when we find out someone mistook him for his brother and was put through even more you just can help but want to hug him. This book is action packed and once again this team is put through the ringer but as always they seem to come out on top. I thought I wasn’t going to like the addition of TIN but I am actually ok with it and curious where it will go to. This book ended on a doozy and I need the next book ASAP!!! This is my new favorite series and I am sure I will be re-reading all of these books time and again.

I liked this addition to this series. This is one of my absolute favorite series. Every book adds a new element to the series as a whole and I love that we still get to see the characters from previous books.
This relationship grows from a childhood friendship that we’ve seen through out all the previous books in the series, but we finally get to see inside the heads of these two men.
Both are extremely strong in their own ways as they deal with everything that life has thrown at them. I particularly like that one of the main characters has a disability and isn’t perfect. It made him more realistic and relateable.
I can’t wait to see where the next book takes us. Every book sweeps me away and I can’t put it down until I’ve finished it.

Cobbs. *sigh* What can I say about Calvin and Hobbs? Only that they are so sweet, true friends, have each other backs through thick and thin and are most definitely the kinkiest of all the couples which gives Dex and Sloane a run for their money, not only in the steam department but also in the humor department. This story just might be one of my favorites.
I truly enjoyed getting to know Hobbs through his own voice. He just may be one of my favorite men of this series. I find his strength pushing through his disability amazing. He was real; his emotions, his feelings, his protectiveness, his loyalty, his fierceness, his love. Calvin was amazing in everything. He was patient, caring, and most definitely protective. These two were best friends from such a young age and have developed such a close bond, that they know each other inside and out. This story just happens to extend the inside of each other and it was hot!
We get more of Team Destructive Delta and all their shenanigans and funny banter. But we also get an inside of the Hobbs family. It will break your heart and you just might fall in love with Rafe of all people. Also cannot forget Seb. I so hope we get a story and a HEA for Seb and Hudson. The love of the Hobbs family is real. The love, compassion, and respect between Calvin and Hobbs is felt deep.
My only uh-oh factor to this story which actually makes it much more intense is the ending. What in the ever-loving world? My heart is devastated. Smoke and Mirrors cannot come soon enough, for all of us THIRDS Nerds, we are just sitting on the edge of our seats, biting our nails and pulling out our hair trying to keep our hearts calm. Bring on the action!

TWO 5 Star Reviews for Of Gods and Monsters: Hades by Wulf Francu Godgluck #MM #Dark

Cover

Title: Of Gods and Monsters: Hades (Of Gods and Monsters #2)
Author Name: Wulf Francu Godgluck
Publication Date & Length: January 22, 2016 – 347 pgs

Synopsis

******WARNING*******
This is not a story about a hero, or some bad boy-badass-antihero.
This is a love story between two monstrous villains and one valiant kid, held together by their entwined heartstrings.
It won’t be pretty.
It won’t be pleasant.
There’s no fluffy good feelings about it.
It will rip out your heart and never give it back.

Breno Hades el Oscuro took no bullshit from anyone. He ruled the crime world of the United States. When the King fell, what was left in the ashes was not the small boy that grew up without his father, not the same kid that chose a life of crime at seventeen, nor was it the King who had killed and clawed through a river of blood to stand at the top.

The King was dragged from his throne of bones into a deep dark pit, leaving only the raw flesh of a savage monster to crawl out of Hell.
One that knew love, but didn’t want it again.

Kemono Orochi was destined to inherit the legacy of his father, known as The Dragon’s Tongue. It was an inheritance he never wanted it, never desiring the power that came with the title of Dragon. Kemono ended it all by tearing off the Dragon’s head, watching the serpent’s remains be consumed in hellfire. Now tormented by the scars of his past inflicted by his father, he is struggling to come to terms with the Akuma he has become.

One that wants to devour everyone in his path to protect the only one that matters to him.

The only person that had ever made his icy heart beat.

His heart. His love. His beautiful pride.

Rex Hunter dreams of becoming a principal ballerino…all fierce, like a Phoenix. But this Phoenix has lost his wings and fallen prey, straight into the clutched claws and callus hands of two vicious beasts. Each bore the blackest of hearts, each desiring to keep him safe, cherished and loved unconditionally. Or was Rex just destined to be the goo that would stick two shattered souls together and prevent them from forever falling to pieces?

There will be blood, gore and nasty shit.

There will be watersports, crude, angry, sometimes sensual and other times just downright dirty and dysfunctional sex.

BUT…

There will always be LOVE…

Because even villains understand the tortured scars love leaves in its wake.

Holy crap!!!!! This book was raw, dirty, a hot mess, amazing, confusing at times but guess what? I flipping LOVED it! There was so much going on in this book and I can’t even begin to give it justice, I am not a in anyway shape or form a write but damn, this book was amazing! I thought the first book in the series was great, but this one, this one just blew me away and then that damn ending, WHAT THE HELL????? I cannot wait for the next book, so good! If I could give this book 10 stars I would in a heartbeat!

So to start of this book I have to say this was very dark and gritty!

I have to say Hades character was bad ass! He was someone you do not want to mess with unless he cared about you then he was so very protective and caring in his own way.

You do see characters from the first book in the series in this one along with many other characters too. There was so much angst, action and steam in this book. I thought the author did a very good job writing these characters and this story! I was grabbed once I started this book and I have to admit I loved the dark and grittiness of it!

Then there was the ending which ugh I can’t even go there… I do not want to give away any spoilers so I will just leave this review with I thought this book was amazing and so very good! I loved it and would recommend it!

So I have always loved historical books and the way this author wrote this story was perfect!

So this being such a short book I really do not want to go to much into the story and what happens because I do not want to give away any spoilers. I will say this was such a sweet story and the steamy scenes between William and Daniel were so damn hot!

The way this author wrote this time period and the characters “which I really loved both William and Daniel” was amazing!

So I will leave this review with…I really loved this story and would definitely recommend it!

Okay so I want to start of this review by saying while I really like the premise of this story and I am huge fan of historical books, this book I honestly am unsure of how I feel about it at this point..

I had the hardest time getting into this story because there were so many parts that really just dragged for me. While there was some very good parts to this story too it just seemed like there were honestly more parts that were hard for me to get into. Now I really liked Jake and Renard’s characters and I did like them together too very much! With this book you will get steam and action too!

Really liked the premise of this story and the characters but I am on the fence on what I feel about the story overall because of the parts that did drag a little for me overweighing that parts I loved..

Wow!! This book was so beautiful but at the same time so heartbreaking too!

Brooke has gone through so much pain in his life you just can not help but feel so bad for his character and everything he has gone through. I just can not imagine going through what he has and to come out so strong from it. Then there was Jed his husband which I have to say these two together were so sweet and you could not help but love them as a couple.

Then there was Brooke’s mother who was such a cruel woman and there are really no words to even describe that horrible woman. I just really do not understand how any mother can treat her child the way this woman did and let’s just say I did not like her character at all and leave it at that.

This story honestly was so hard to read… Many times there was tears in my eyes while I read certain parts of this book. Which leads me to what a amazing job the author did with this story and these characters. To pull you into this book and have you feeling what this character is going through..

So I will leave this review with I really loved this beautiful, but also heartbreaking story and would recommend it!

Synopsis

Everyone wishes they were dead when wandering the purgatory of a home furnishings store, but these guys actually are.

Benji Goss is the quintessential good guy. When his boyfriend dumps him and moves out, Benji obligingly keeps the cat—even though he’s allergic—because his ex’s new place doesn’t accept pets. He’s always joked the cat would be the death of him, but not in a way he expects when a feline mishap crushes him under a DEL TORO bookcase.

Snarky loner Patrick Bryant is in such a rut he barely remembers the life he used to lead. The last thing he recalls is being decapitated by a DEL TORO bookcase in a freak accident. As a spiritual CASA resident, he haunts the aisles of affordable Italian furniture, assisting fellow spirits in moving on to their final destinations.

When Benji appears in the CASA café, Patrick considers the naïve spirit just the man to cure his boredom. Benji’s relentless optimism chips away at Patrick’s sarcasm, making him question if there’s something beyond what he can see. I have to say to start of this review that I 100% loved the authors premise of this story! Being a huge paranormal fan and both MC’s in this story both being Ghosts..

I really loved both of the characters in this story! Benji and Patrick both having been killed by Casa furniture now must reside there in their afterlife. Benji was such a sweet character while Patrick was sarcastic, but he does eventually grow on you. I really just loved both of these characters together and thought this story was so sweet!

I loved the way both authors wrote this story and these characters! From the moment I started this book I could not put it down. It was such a different concept then I have really ever read before.

There was humor in this book along with some sweet parts too! I loved this authors twist on the old fairy tales and the way he wrote the characters in these stories.

But lets not forget the steam either which was very hot! Each story in this book was so good and will take you into a different tale that will either have you laughing so much there will be tears in your eyes or will give you some very steamy scenes!

I am really trying not to give away any spoilers because this book was just so funny and good you really need to read this for yourself, so I will leave this review with I 100% loved this book!
