Time passes and life moves on, but when Charlie learns the only two men he’s ever loved are now in love with each other, his heart breaks all over again. Scott and Adan tell Charlie they want him back, but Charlie doesn’t know if he can trust two people who have hurt him so deeply. More Than Everything

This was a really interesting book with the way it was sort of laid out as a photo album.
I haven’t read any of the other books in this series, but I really didn’t feel like I was missing out on anything.
There were a lot of different biased and intense situations that were faced in this book and that’s what made me love it. The fact that some people can see a person for who they are and not who they love or how they dress. The fact that yes, even if you care for someone, that doesn’t make things easy in that relationship. And of course, everyone makes mistakes and we all wish we’d handled a situation differently than we had.
However, in this book, all three men get the chance to face what happened in their past and try to fix it. There is a lot of sweet romance along with angst mixed in as young love doesn’t always work out and sometimes we aren’t ready to share a part of ourselves when we know that it’s ridiculous to try to hide such a big part of ourselves.
Each of the men go through a lot of growth because of what they go through in the book and it’s just great to follow along.
The narrator did a great job of adding that little something extra and keeping the audiobook interesting and made me not want to turn it off.
Overall, a great book, great narration and can’t wait for more from both of them!

The One Who Saves Me

This was such a good story. Two men who have been there for each other so much so that they miss that there is more to their relationship than either of them even realize.
I enjoyed this story so much. It was so hard to put down because I just had to know how things were going to end up for the two men. This wasn’t quite what I would call a best friend turned lover story as they were pretty much lovers from the start of the book.. it was a matter of realizing that as the years passed that there would be no one better for the other man.
The detailed story Andrew painted on his body of all the hurts and loss he dealt with was so neat. I loved that he was incredibly intelligent and didn’t let other people’s biased stop him from being the man he wanted to be (which was an excellent neurosurgeon).
SUCH a good story about finding a way through all the pain of a fairly normal life to find love that was there supporting you all along.
I have to say the Narrator did an excellent job with this book as well. It was a really easy, smooth cadence that was pleasant to listen to and really enhanced the story for me.

Cardeno C. – CC to friends – is a hopeless romantic who wants to add a lot of happiness and a few “awwws” into a reader’s day. Writing is a nice break from real life as a corporate type and volunteer work with gay rights organizations. Cardeno’s stories range from sweet to intense, contemporary to paranormal, long to short, but they always include strong relationships and walks into the happily-ever- after sunset.

Cardeno’s Home, Family, and Mates series have received awards from Love Romances and More Golden Roses, Rainbow Awards, the Goodreads M/M Romance Group, and various reviewers. But even more special to CC are heartfelt reactions from readers, like, “You bring joy and love and make it part of the every day.”
