Zander and Felix’s relationship has always pushed boundaries—personal and professional alike—but their love and commitment is stronger than ever. So strong that Zander’s ready to ask commitment-shy Felix the question of a lifetime when he’s interrupted. The Chaos is being hacked, and crucial, top secret information about the project that created Zander—and his fellow super soldiers—has been leaked.

Neither man could have expected the enormity of what’s discovered at the end of the data trail: an entire colony of super soldiers run by the very doctor who changed Zander’s life forever. And now she needs them both—Zander to train her new crop of soldiers, and Felix’s new crystalline arm to stabilize their body chemistry.

With help from the unlikeliest of allies, Zander, Felix and theChaos crew must destroy the project and all its ill-gotten information. But when the team is split up and Felix is MIA after a dangerous run, galactic disaster is a very real possibility…and Zander may have missed his chance to ask for forever.

I am going to be honest and say that this is the first book I have read in this series. I may not know what all happened before this book but I do know that I thoroughly enjoyed this year one. And at this point I will probably go back and read the books in the series that came before this one since I enjoyed this one so much.

This book has so much action in it. I truly felt like there was not a down moment for the characters.

As far as Flick and Zeb goes I truly loved these two characters. They are just completely made for one another. Yes they can communicate because of Flicks arm without having to speak to one another but even if he did not have that, these two can read one another and know what the other is thinking and feeling just from looking into each other’s eyes. Their soles are truly intertwined.

The battle that they face left them battered and beaten in the end. They almost lost one another which would have been a huge tragedy but I believe that this battle was necessary for the two of them to come to terms with the next step in theif relationship.

Like I said this is a magnificent book and I truly enjoyed his read. Cannot wait to read more from Kelly Jensen.

Jenn Burke

Jenn’s always been drawn to weird and wonderful stories, particularly those juxtaposed with our normal, boring world. Her love of the written word prompted her to get a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Ottawa, and she’s spent the years since working in corporate and web communications—and dreaming up weird and wonderful stories of her own. A self-confessed geek, Jenn loves spending time in the worlds of video games, surfing her favorite websites, reading all the romance novels she can get her hands on, and accumulating an impressive collection of nerdy t-shirts. She currently lives outside of Ottawa, Ontario, with her husband, two kids, and her writing helper, Alenko the husky.

Kelly Jensen

If aliens ever do land on Earth, Kelly will not be prepared, despite having read over a hundred stories of the apocalypse. Still, she will pack her precious books into a box and carry them with her as she strives to survive. It’s what bibliophiles do.

Kelly is the author of a number of novels, novellas and short stories, including the Chaos Station series, co-written with Jenn Burke. At lot of what she writes is speculative in nature, but sometimes it’s just about a guy losing his socks and/or burning dinner. Because life isn’t all conquering aliens and mountain peaks. Sometimes finding a happy ever after is all the adventure we need.
