Cold Fingers – a love story
by Amy Spector
Christopher Minnick is at a bad place in his life. Turning thirty and newly out of the hospital, the last thing he wants to do is attend a birthday dinner even if it is being thrown in his honor.
When he is introduced to a friend’s godson things just might be starting to look up. Or are they?
All the good ones are either married or straight. Or they’re necrophiliacs.
Deadly Sugar – you can never be too thin
by Ofelia Gränd
After six years of a relationship going nowhere, Jett has moved away to start over. Maybe his new neighbour David can help distract him from the ache left by his ex’s absence.
David on the other hand has a whole root cellar full of lovers. He doesn’t need another one. And no matter what treats Jett offers, David knows nothing tastes as good as thin feels.
Deadly Sugar~ Rating: 5 Stars
Okay this story just wow… You know those horror movies were someone will always have to check out that sound in the dark alone yea.. This book some many times did I want to yell through my kindle what are you doing! You know that old saying walks like a psycho serial killer, talks like a psycho serial killer, acts like a psycho serial killer then chances are he is probably a serial killer! So many times I was sitting there thinking WTH is Jett not running!!! Then the twist at the end omg! What the hell was that! Now all I want to yell is run Josh run as fast as you can lol. Then there was David just so messed up and obsessed with weight. Just wow and high praise for this author for grabbing me with this story and not letting me go. There were so many parts to this story that did ECK me out and don’t get me wrong I do love a good horror movie but just whew and no that is so wrong. So I will say wow I loved this story for the way the author wrote this and the twist I am still working my head around that one.

Well this was different and just ick I don’t know if I can fully wrap my head around this one.. Okay so wow um yea okay lol. So if signs are pointing that the man you are dating is into necrophilia please turn yourself around and go into the complete opposite direction as far away from him as you can. So Vic is a surgeon and apparently into things that are just not right at all. Christopher owns a antique shop and meets Vic at his birthday party. You know I did like the authors pretense of this story but to leave it without explaining how Vic does his thing and no I am not talking about the necrophilia because ewww so gross lol. I am talking about the other thing I cant say without giving away this story. To just leave it hanging like that, my head spinning no idea what just happened. Because that is just mean lol! Now I am forever going to be wondering how the hell he did it. So anyway beside all that this was the perfect horror story! I really did like this story. Before you go into this know that yes there is a warning but there really is no details on what Vic does which I thought was good because honestly I am not sure I could have read that.
So all together this was a really good book and yes I am giving it 5 stars because these two authors really grabbed me into these stories even though Amy Spector left me hanging there lol. I did really love this book for the horror aspect and the twists! The perfect book for Halloween if you are into darker reads.
I would recommend this book!
Gay fiction—sometimes with a sprinkle of romance, sometimes with a dash of horror, sometimes with a pinch of paranormal, and sometimes a mix of it all.
Ofelia Gränd is Swedish which often shines through in her stories. She likes to write about everyday people ending up in not-so-everyday situations, and hopefully also getting out of them. She writes contemporary and paranormal, and dreams about one day writing a post-apocalyptic story–if that ever happens we’ll see.
Her books are written for readers who want to take a break from their everyday life for an hour or two.
When Ofelia manages to tear herself from the screen and sneak away from husband and children she likes to take walks along the coastline and watch the sea. She’s recently discovered the miracle of podcasts and spends her strolls listen to wise people talk.
Amy Spector is new to writing and even newer to writing romance. She likes her stories to feature people who deserve a happy ending, and she tries her best to give them one. Admittedly, she likes to make them a little miserable first.
She lives in the Midwest United States with her husband, several rather noisy children and a dog named after her favorite horror movie actor of all time.
