Every story has more than one point of view.
As mate to the Dark Mage Morgorth, Aishe has learned a lot about magick, love, and himself. He tries to find a home with Morgorth, to be accepted into his world and to survive in a world full of treachery and deception. But all the while he struggles to keep a secret about his past and their intertwined destinies. Despite the obstacles thrown at both of them, Aishe is determined to stay by Morgorth’s side, no matter what the future brings — even if that future turns dark with death should Morgorth embrace his grim destiny.
When Morgorth leaves with his mentor to collect another stone of power, Aishe is left behind. It is then that a surprise attack comes, and Aishe, determined to protect and defend his new home, decides to take the invaders on by himself. It might prove to be too much for him to handle… especially when he learns the one who leads the invaders is a mage.
The third book in the “Stones of Power” series allows us a glimpse inside the mind of Lord Morgorth’s better half, a dialen named Aishe: his motivations, his personal sorrows, and his struggle to find a place to call home.
So with this book we get more of Morgorth and Aishe while they grow closer together and go up against another mage who would seek to destroy Morgorth. This book was told in Aishe POV which I loved so much! It was awesome to get to see what Aishe was thinking and how he really feels about Morgorth. I honestly just love these two men together and how much they honestly care about each other is awesome. Yes they do have their moments and there was one part I did cringe inside a little when Morgorth got really mad at Aishe for putting himself in danger. I will not go to much into what happened because I do not want to give away any spoilers but I was cringing inside hoping everything would work out okay for these two men.
I loved the way this author wrote this story and this world that this author created, along with the characters in this story. Which you meet more and more characters with every book so far in this series too. But do not let me forget the creatures this author created that protect Morgoth. They are just so awesome and add some much action and on the edge of your seat moments to this story.
So I will leave this review with… I 100% loved this story and would recommend this book!

After graduating from the University of Oregon and majoring in English, she embarked on her writing career and couldn’t be happier. Working by day, writing by night, she enjoys journeying on romantic quests and daring adventures and creating characters that always triumph against the villain, and find their soul mate in the process.
