The meeting of Brandon and Hubert. I suspect, that most readers will have an issue with the beginning of this story, as did I. I was able to overcome that part of the story. I think their affair was sweet and the beginning of a fantastic relationship. We should all be so lucky as to find our one true love and be able to hold out for that person.
The more I read about the locks on the bridge the more I got this déjà vu feeling. I’m almost positive I’ve heard about this. Did this really happen? Did this bridge of locks exist? I’d like to think it did. How amazing and creative to think of doing something like this. Kudos to the first couples who thought of doing this.
I loved Brandon’s letters! I wish I was adventurous enough to do something like that. I laughed, I smiled, I cried. What if someone really did write anonymous letters to anyone and left them around the world? What would you do if you came across a letter like that? Would you respond? I’d like to think I would.
