Title: The Best Laid Plans
Author Name & Publisher: Lauren Gallagher (Samhain Publishing)
Publication Date & Length: February 16th 2016- 320 pages
It’s a foolproof strategy…until the emotional balance shifts.
After yet another adoption falls through, Gabe is ready to give up, and Shahid isn’t far behind him. Apparently, being a gay couple—half of which is Muslim—is just one strike too many for the powers that be.
When their friend Kendra offers to carry their baby for them, both men balk at first, but gradually warm to the idea. Especially Gabe, whose bisexuality is open to the chemistry among the three of them.
The plan seems simple. Kendra and Gabe, foregoing the cold, impersonal IVF clinic, paperwork and red tape, will conceive the old-fashioned way. They’ll all share parenting responsibilities, and live happily baby after.
But as the heat flares between Gabe and Kendra, Shahid’s long-suppressed insecurities bubble to the surface. Then some unexpected news catches the trio off guard and derails their plans—and now one heart could be left out in the cold.

So I will start this review of by saying I was completely nervous before starting this book because I am not a huge fan of love triangles or cheating in books… But I really wanted to try this book and I am so glad I did!!!!
I thought the way the author handled this story and these characters was awesome and I loved it! Now I really do not want to give away any spoilers because this book was just so good you really need to read this for yourself.
You get steam with this book and I mean very hot steam, plus you also get the sweet with the feelings, as they grow between… I can’t tell you without giving away a huge spoiler so I will just leave it at there is some sweet in this book too lol. I loved the way everything worked out in this book. I will say although I loved all three of these characters in this book Kendra was definitely my favorite. She was just so strong and the way she was there for her friends through everything was just awesome!
So I will leave this review with…I 100% loved this book and would recommend it!
