Title: Menorahs and Mistletoe (Sleigh Ride – 2015 Advent Calendar)
Author Name & Publisher: Jess Roth (Dreamspinner Press)
Publication Date & Length: November 30, 2015 – 59 pgs
If nothing else, Hanukkah this year will be interesting. Single dad Martin’s six-year-old daughter, Sara, is determined to get him a new “friend.” Martin isn’t even sure he wants to step back into the pool, much less go out with the mall elf they met while shopping for gifts. But he’s starting to get to know the cute receptionist at work, Tim, and thinking maybe the whole dating thing isn’t such a terrible idea. Too bad things are never that simple.
A story from the Dreamspinner Press 2015 Advent Calendar package “Sleigh Ride”
This was such a cute Holiday story about a single father Martian who has put dating on the back burner because of his daughter and not wanting to bring anyone else into her life at this point.. Well at least until he meets the elf that is working with the Santa his daughter visits. Then there was the man at his work Tim who is very attracted to too.
I thought this was such a cute holiday story about a single father who is trying to do the best thing for his daughter even if that means he remains single. But his daughter wants him to find a partner to share his life with.
The attraction between these two men and the steam was so sweet and hot!!!
This was such a cute short Holiday story and I really loved it! I would recommend this story!
I absolutely love stories with children and this one was great and from a new author for me. I love when I find new author that have stories with children in them. I love how the author was able to take Hanukah and Christmas and develop a story with both religions. Don’t get me wrong this was not a religious, preachy story but it was a mixture of both Hanukah and Christmas. A super quick and wonderful story that includes children is sure fire way to get me to read it. Great job.
