This is an amazing yet quick read. It is wonderfully written. You cant help but fall in love with Kelsey and Rayane.
This book drew me in on the first page and I could not put it down. It made me laugh it made me cry. When something happenes you cant help but feel the emotion as if you are there.
The way the characters are written you feel their pain. Alex Gryffron fouond the perfect ammount of details. There were not to many so that you wanted to skip over some parts and not to few that you were left wondering about anything. It was just enough so you know all you need to know to connect on an emotional level.
I loved it from the first page to  the last.
A very easy to read fresh novel.
Good to read about families accepting their daughter being a lesbian with such ease and confidence. The novel also touched upon some of the dangers of being an “out” lesbian. It was a satisfying novel with a lovely finale.
I think young teenagers might identify with this book and be helped by some of the refreshing concepts.
It would be a helpful for British reader if the age of the main characters was identified early in the novel due to the differences in educational terms.
When Kelsey was hurt and hospitalised then almost immediately went on to have her eye procedure I was a little alarmed with the speed at which this occurred.
I was also aware of, in parts, of Erik Schubach’s influence, obviously in a positive way.
This story matures as Kelsey herself matures and this is one of the strengths of the book. A very easy to read novel.

I’ve been writing for quite a few years now – it has always been a passion of mine. Not too long ago, I met (via web) an author who turned my world upside down with his fantastic novels. He then proceeded to show me how to self-publish my books.

My first published work: Stranded: Gauturan, I started writing when I was in either my sophomore or junior year of high school that features me and my closest three friends. That story was the kick-off to my writing and self-publishing books that I have a passion for. I have the help of my wonderful partner Kejsi Miller and a web of friends who give me love and support for all the works of fiction I write.

I write fiction, fantasy and LGTB romance novels (or rather just the L) – some longer than others and some more involved in others. Writing is my world and it’s a world I love to write about. I’ve loved books since I was a little kid and my passion for reading has only grown – deepening the well of books I have yet to read and the list grows with each day. I’ve had the pleasure to talk with some authors who have inspired me and I wish to inspire others to not only read, but to write as well. The world can always use a creative mind to send us to another world.
