Lance Packet just got a contract to shoot an erotic BDSM deck of cards; the only problem is finding models. So far everyone he’s interviewed thinks he’s looking for sex for hire. Then in walk three perfect examples of men: Tide and his friends, Tyrone and Bran.

Tide Germaine is a model and a Dom. He and his best friend Tyrone opened The Iron Eagle Gym as a place for gay men in the lifestyle to work out, do scenes, and congregate with like-minded men. The modeling is just another job for Tide, but it soon turns into a grand seduction as Tide falls for the shy, self-conscious photographer. The problem is Lance doesn’t believe he’s in Tide’s league, and he’s not at all sure about the Dom and sub thing.

It’s not going to be easy, but Tide’s going to have to convince Lance he belongs at Tide’s side as both lover and sub.

Lance just got a contract to shoot photos for a BDSM deck so he has a hard time finding models when in walks three men. Tide is a model and a Dom and really knows the lifestyle along with his two friends. Once Tide lays eyes on Lance he knows he wants Lance for his Sub/Boy but Lance fights it due to thinking he is not good enough to be with a hot model like Tide and being unsure of the lifestyle.

Okay I have to say the way Tide talks to Lance all sexy and possessive is just so damn hot! Then there was all the steamy scenes between these two men which were also so hot. I loved that Tide was so very attracted to Lance even though Lance feels like Tide is way out of his league. I also loved the fact that did not even cross Tide’s mind and it is really refreshing to see a book were one of the MC’s maybe not be model hot as the other but that does not even stop how attracted the other MC is to him.

This was such a sweet steamy story and I loved the way this author wrote these character and the this story! I really do not want to give away any spoilers because you really need to read this book for yourself. I will say I can not wait for the next book in this series! So I will leave this review with I 100% loved this book and would definitely recommend this book!

I really enjoy Sean Michael’s style of writing, so I was not disappointed in this book.
The chemistry between all of the characters is sizzling, the connection that Tyrone and Bran share is off the charts and the pursuit of Lance is unrelenting.
The photoshoot are sexy, steamy and give Lance enough single hand fodder that he has difficulties maintaining his professionalism (or what he perceives is his professionalism component.)
I enjoyed watching Lance come in to his understanding and appreciation of BDSM and what that desire inside him could unleash.  I also appreciated that Tide, while persistent, was also patient and understanding in Lance’s hesitations.
The two secondary characters, Tyrone and Bran were also quite explosive on the page.  Despite my not quite understanding the relationship that they all shared, Tide, Bran and Tyrone, it seemed to work for them in this story.
I didn’t really understand what the gym component had to do with this story – it seemed almost like an afterthought for this couple.  But, maybe it was a set up for the next book – one I am eagerly awaiting!

In true Sean Michael fashion there was lots and lots of hot steamy love scenes. I loved Tide, Tyrone and Bran instantly. I couldn’t connect with Lance at first and then after a while he was getting on my nerves with his self-doubt about Tide wanting him. I liked the fact that Tide was willing to show Lance everything and had the patience of a saint. I was wanting to find out what the buyer of the deck of cards thought of the shots that Lance had taken but we never found that out, maybe in the next book? I can’t wait to read more of Tyrone in Bran in the next book of the series, I really enjoyed their chemistry.

This book was hot, hot, hot. Of course it is, it’s by Sean Michael. I love me some Sean Michael book, even if some of Sean’s books is a hit and miss with me. I still read. Yeah, I got it bad.
So anyway, this installment is about shy and awkward Lance Packet. He’s a photographer of erotic things and people. His latest job is to take pics of sexy men with BDSM themes for cards. He thinks he’s not going to get the right models, but in walks Tide and his friends. And they’re smoking up the place. Of course poor Lance tries to resist Tide’s charms, but come on, where’s the fun in that?
This book had all trademark Sean Michael quirks. Lots of hot sex, funny moments, sweet moments, insta-love. I liked it, not as much as others, but enough to give it 3 1/2 stars. I just wish there was more to the story, but I kinda expected it to all be sex and I was right. lol.

AuthorBio

Often referred to as “Space Cowboy” and “Gangsta of Love” while still striving for the moniker of “Maurice,” Sean Michael spends his days surfing, smutting, organizing his immense gourd collection and fantasizing about one day retiring on a small secluded island peopled entirely by horseshoe crabs. While collecting vast amounts of vintage gay pulp novels and mood rings, Sean whiles away the hours between dropping the f-bomb and persuing the kama sutra by channeling the long lost spirit of John Wayne and singing along with the soundtrack to “Chicago.”

A long-time writer of complicated haiku, currently Sean is attempting to learn the advanced arts of plate spinning and soap carving sex toys.

Barring any of that? He’ll stick with writing his stories, thanks, and rubbing pretty bodies together to see if they spark.
