Title: Wet, Hot, Australian Christmas
Author Name & Publisher: A. V. Sanders (Less Than Three Press)
Publication Date & Length: Dec 16, 2015 (37 pages)
Reid, an American shark research scientist, is in Perth, Australia working to develop a mobile app that may revolutionize shark safety practices. But even the company of his boyfriend, Graham, isn’t enough to stave off homesickness as Christmas approaches, and a missing shark and Graham’s struggling business seem set to ruin the holiday for good.
This was an interesting short story. While I found that there was a lot of interesting things going on, I also felt like maybe it was a bit too much at times. I suppose it may have been my own fault based on the title and the synopsis I thought the book was going to be more about the relationship but the book to me ended up being more about the shark tracking and the family business.
All in all though, I will say it was a well written story that faded out at the naughty times, which I didn’t care for either, but that’s a personal preference.
