Synopsis

Jon Brennan comes from a long line of men in uniform; all born and bred to both bleed and wear blue. His family and the majority of his co-workers support him every step of the way, so he doesn’t need to hide the fact that he prefers men over women. Between the job and his larger than life, loud and rowdy half Irish, half Italian family, there isn’t much time for dating, much less finding a guy that can deal with the stress and demands placed on the shoulders of an NYPD Detective.

Kory White is cocky and abrasive with most people, but it is all a mirage, a façade he hides behind to keep his heart safe. As a child, Kory lost his mother to an act of violence. Soon after, he and his baby sister Kassandra were separated by the system. Kassandra was immediately adopted, but Kory spent the next ten years cycling through foster homes before moving to the Big Apple. In an effort to keep everyone at a distance, Kory has meticulously built himself an alter ego: Hayden Cox, All Cocks’ cockiest model.

These two strong willed men definitely prove opposites do attract. Both are stubborn and hard headed to a fault, Kory more so than Jon. But Jon is used to being in control, the one calling the shots, and Kory fights him at every turn. Just when it seems they have found a way to navigate the unchartered territory that is love, tragedy knocks on Kory’s door yet again. Volatile and strong, even in the face of adversity, both men refuse to give up on each other – or their love.

This book was a good addition to this series!
This can be read as a stand alone because it features a different couple then the previous books.
Kory is a porn star who works for All Cocks porn site. Jon is a huge fan of his work and a police detective. They meet during a incident at a bar and there is a instant attraction.
So let me start of this review by saying although I did really like this book there were a few things I had a hard time wrapping my head around to be honest at first. Now I know being a porn star is just a job but that does not stop me from thinking how can a relationship work when one partner does this for a job. Now for me personally I do not think I could ever be comfortable with the person I care about being a porn star. Now usually I do not have a problem with it in a book because the way everything works out.
But with this book it went into too much detail for me when Kory was working because then I am left sitting there thinking I wonder what Jon feels about this. I also know that this all comes down to trust and it would take a lot of trust to be okay with this I do understand that. But that still for me personally is still hard to understand and fully wrap my head around.
So through a majority of this book I did have a hard time thinking about them as a couple. But farther along in the book the author had them discussing it and the way it was handled made it easier for me to see how Jon was okay with it so I felt like that was handled perfectly.
That was the only part I had a hard time with other then that I really did like this book and these characters. You also see a lot of characters from the pervious book too. It did take me a little longer to feel like Jon and Kory made a good match but by the end of this book I did really get them as a couple and could feel their love for one another.

So all together I really liked this book!
I would recommend this book!

Another great book in the series! Kory aka Hayden Cox has a reason for being so difficult and a pain in the butt, only a few people really know why. Jon is a cop, from a family of cops and has some family members that can be very vocal. These two hit it off and you can feel the emotions between them. I loved Jon from the beginning, Kory, not so much but he grew on me. Finding out Kory’s history did help understand him and when he finally gets some closure to his past you can’t help but be happy for him. I can’t wait to see who the next book is about, I just love this series and the men in it.

This is my first book by this author and I really enjoyed it. This is the 3rd book in the All Cocks series but can be read as a standalone. This author has style that is very easy to read. This book had everything from angst to humor to hot cops and porn stars. Oh and let’s not forget about the hot sex on top of all that. Both Kory and Jon both their issues. Kory has some really large insecurities and he hides this with his anger and cantankerous attitude. Jon with large multi-generational, Irish-Italian family. I loved how the author brought Jon and Kory together and loved how they ultimately stick together in the face of Kory’s past. I loved Jon from the beginning but it took me a while to warm up to Kory.

Although this book can be read as a standalone (I haven’t ready the 1st two books) I think I would have enjoyed it more if I had read the 1st two books.

1)Would you rather live one life that lasts 1,000 years or live 10 lives that last 100 years each?

– Ten lives that last 100 years each. I think part of the fun would be the rebirth.

2)Would you rather be without elbows or be without knees?

– Without elbows! I’m notorious for slamming my elbows into things.

3)Would you rather experience a sharp pain in your side each time someone says your name or have a bell sound each time you are aroused?

– Sharp Pain, that damn bell might never stop ringing!

4)Would you rather have a dragon or be a dragon?

– Have a Dragon. Wouldn’t it be fun to be the Mother of the Dragon.

5)Would you rather secretly have sex with a goat or have everyone think you had sex with a goat even though you didn’t?

– Ouch! Have everyone think I did, I’m pretty sure that the actual act would be uncomfortable and scar me for life.

6)Would you rather wear a snow suit in the desert or be naked in Antarctica?

– Snow suit in the dessert, I can always strip, but I’d rather not freeze my girly bits off.
