Title: Suit Yourself (Men of London #3)
Author Name: Susan Mac Nicol
Publication Date: May 21, 2015

Scarred both physically and emotionally after a motorcycle accident, twenty-five year old ex fashion model and porn star Oliver Brown is about to be stripped bare by flamboyant twink Leslie Scott—and they’ll rebuild love from the bottom up.

Twenty-five year old Oliver Brown is addicted. Two years ago, he was at the height of his career as “Nikki Star,” fashion model, porn actor, partier without peer. Then came the accident. Hiding his scars, both emotional and physical, he’s gone into hiding. But fine clothing is some solace. A new suit by Debussy? Better even than a ride on his motorcycle Hulk or all the things he used to give and take on camera.
Enter Leslie Scott, the flamboyant, dark-haired, heel-and-tiny-short-wearing twink sent to deliver Oliver’s newest fix. A firecracker, Leslie is dapper, generous, in touch with his feminine side but all man, and as gorgeous as any garment ever made. He makes Oliver dream of ending his reclusion, of recapturing a future forever denied him. But for that to happen, Leslie would have to strip him to the bone. Only then will they rebuild life from the bottom up.

I absolutely adored this book. In fact this could quite possibly be my favorite book in this series. I didn’t really look forward to Leslie’s book to be honest. I just thought he was so over the top and dramatic sometimes, but this played out really, really well to me. I really like the way Oliver paired up with him and the couple they made.
Leslie while still over the top was toned down by how withdrawn Oliver was and the way they both ended up being exactly what the other one needed totally worked for me. Although I would’ve liked to see Oliver come out of his shell a bit more, I think the book itself was perfect as it had to be taken in small steps after what he’d been through…. doesn’t mean I wouldn’t want more from him though.
I loved that we got little bits of the men from previous books as well and they came to back Leslie when needed as he was there for both of them.
I did find there were quite a few typos, but being that I got an early copy, those very well could be fixed by the time the book is published and I didn’t mark down for it.
Suit Yourself is my favorite in the Men of London series, we have met Leslie Scott in the previous two books in the series and I just loved him and couldn’t wait for his story. Leslie is flamboyant and his flame burns oh so bright. You can’t help but love him really. When Leslie goes to work on his day off to see if there are any scrapes of material he can use he is sent on a delivery. No big deal right? HA! Ex porn star Oliver Brown was the recipient of said delivery. Oliver was previously known as Nikki Star, he was famous, rich and partied like there was no tomorrow. One night changed everything and now he is a recluse. When Leslie delivers the suit to Oliver he is his normal outgoing self and he leaves an impression on Oliver.
Of course Oliver, aka Nikki, left a long last impression on Leslie for years as he was the star of his fantasies and solo sessions. Oliver hardly ever leaves his house but Leslie wiggles his way into Oliver’s heart and they meet for coffee. Step by step these two men form a friendship and then a relationship and it was heartwarming how the recluse and the flamboyant get along so well and balance each other out. Their story had its ups and downs but it was well worth the journey. We also got to see the other couples and catch up with them and I love how Eddie and Taylor and their men are there when things get rough. I love Leslie and Oliver and I hope we see more of them in the series.

Susan Mac Nicol is a self confessed bookaholic, an avid watcher of videos of sexy pole dancing men, self confessed geek and nerd and in love with her Smartphone. This little treasure is called ‘the boyfriend’ by her long suffering husband, who says if it vibrated, there’d be no need for him. Susan hasn’t had the heart to tell him there’s an app for that…

She is never happier than when sitting in the confines of her living room/study/on a cold station platform scribbling down words and making two men fall in love. She is a romantic at heart and believes that everything happens (for the most part) for a reason. She likes to think of herself as a ‘half full’ kinda gal, although sometimes that philosophy is sorely tested.

Lover of walks in the forest, theatre productions, dabbling her toes in the cold North Sea and the vibrant city of London where you can experience all four seasons in a day , she is a hater of pantomime (so please don’t tar and feather her), duplicitous people, bigotry and self righteous idiots.

In an ideal world, Susan Mac Nicol would be Queen of England and banish all the bad people to the Never Never Lands of Wherever -Who Cares. As that’s never going to happen, she contents herself with writing her HEA stories and pretending, that just for a little while, good things happen to good people.
