Title: Someone To Keep Me (Collars & Cuffs #3)
Author Name: K.C. Wells & Parker Williams
Publication Date & Length: January 10, 2014 – 246 pgs
Eighteen-year-old Scott Keating knows a whole world exists beyond his parents’ strict control, but until he gains access to the World Wide Web, he really has no idea what’s out there. In a chat room, Scott meets “JeffUK.” Jeff loves and understands him, and when he offers to bring Scott to the UK, Scott seizes his chance to escape his humdrum life and see the world. But when his plane touches down and Jeff isn’t there, panic sets in.
Collars & Cuffs favorite barman and Dom-in-training, Ben Winters, drops his sister off at the airport and finds a lost, anxious Scott. Hearing Scott’s story sets off alarm bells, along with his protective instincts. Taking pity on the naïve boy, Ben offers him a place to crash and invites him to Collars & Cuffs, hoping his bosses will know how to help. Scott dreams of belonging to someone, heart and soul. Ben longs for a sub of his own. And neither man sees what’s right under his nose.
Ben and Scott… what a pair they make. Both were so unsure of themselves. Despite Ben’s outward appearance, he was self conscious about a lot in his life. Then you have Scott, who is trying to be the person he wants, with stupid parents.
This story could have gone in so many different directions. I loved where KC Wells took it.
The chemistry that is between both Ben and Scott is electric. They fit each other well and seem to understand each other.
I wanted to do bodily harm to Ben in the name of Scott. I hated that Scott’s family had so much influence over both of them. Despite Ben being the Dom, again, I will say that he was awfully unsure of himself.
However, I did like that Ben’s friends were there to support him and even though they may not have agreed, it did not seem that they judged Ben, only worried for him.
In the end, it was a great story – heartbreak, redemption, forgiveness, love and friendship were all components in this story, which was deep and wonderful.

This story kind of scared me in the beginning I know all about people hooking up on the internet and then things go wrong. It is every parent’s nightmare! When Scott meets “Jeff” and then follows him to the UK my heart stops, I thought the worst! Thank goodness it didn’t end up as bad as it could have! While it seems unrealistic that someone would take you home after finding you at the airport you have to remember this is a story. I love how Ben wanted to keep Scott and take care of him but had other obligations with his sister and mom and then when the other Doms gave him money to help with the costs, he refused to use it. That to me was sweet, stupid at times but sweet. Sometimes I couldn’t feel the connection between Scott and Ben but other times I could, not sure why though. I will say that the virginity scene took my breath away. When Ben sends Scott away I was in tears, I wantd to reach through my kindle and slap him! Of course there is a happy ending and it was another great book in the series but not my favorite.

Born and raised in the north-west of England, K.C.Wells always loved writing. Words were important. Full stop. However, when childhood gave way to adulthood, the writing ceased, as life got in the way.
K.C. discovered erotic fiction in 2009, where the purchase of a ménage storyline led to the startling discovery that reading about men in love was damn hot. In 2012, arriving at a really low point in life led to the desperate need to do something creative. An even bigger discovery waited in the wings – writing about men in love was even hotter…
K.C. now writes full-time and is loving every minute of her new career.
