Synopsis

Dusty has finally landed a job he thinks he’ll be able to keep long-term, even with his broken brain and bum knee. He didn’t anticipate that cleaning a dance studio would reawaken his yearning to dance—even though he is no longer capable—or that meeting the studio’s director would rouse his dormant libido. Or his sleeping heart.

Conrad thinks his life is finally complete with his successful dance studio and a steady stream of students. When Dusty arrives, he rediscovers his thirst for a man who will let him hand over control and give him the undivided attention he’s never had. The trouble is, Dusty isn’t sure he’s worthy of the studio director’s submission.

To make their relationship work, Dusty will have to trust his ability to dominate the powerful and beautiful dancer, and Conrad will have to stop talking long enough to hear Dusty’s promises.

ThreeStar

Huh…from the description, I kinda expected more from this story…but didn’t really get what I thought I was going to get.
This is a story about Dusty, he’s got several problems that prevents him from following his dreams to dance. Now, he’s a janitor. He meets Conrad, who owns his own studio and teaches kids to dance. Conrad is big and looks dominating, but really, he’s the one who wants to be dominated. I got all excited for that part. Dusty seemed to be the one to give him what he wants…then the book just sorta…dropped.
They argued, hurt each other’s feelings, made up…but not so much hotness. Where was the hotness hinted at the description? I was like “eh?” And I felt cheated at the end…was that even a proper end? I know you can’t have them all but, yeah. It had a promising start, but it didn’t deliver. Not for me at least.
Nice cover though. 🙂

With most of the hours in the day taken up by a part time job and the full time occupation of raising and schooling two kids, writing is somewhat of an indulgence, but it’s the indulgences that keep us sane, right? When not otherwise occupied, like most writers, reading is my relaxation method of choice, and you can find my reviews at Kuriousity.com and Dark Diva Reviews to let you know what I liked (and occasionally, what I didn’t). And just in case there are an extra few minutes in the day, I also help out the admin team abelong to a writer’s critique group: Dreaming in Ink. After all, idle hands and all that.
